Tamz Your Flyawayz

First to recommend

Description

The only nightmare I have about this product is that I can't read the ingredients so I can't tell you if it's organic but it is fantastic. Great way to tame flyaways without the use of styling products and you can used it as something that can tame your eyebrows too. It's non-greasy and simple to use. And it $8.95, it's a definitely Must Buy!

Lip Scents, Inc.

Description

The only product I buy that I have psuedo-guilt for. The product was developed a film industry insider for the purpose of relaxing as it blends the world of aromatherapy and skincare. It's an organic and vegan lip balm (not wax based though) and it carries a hefty price tag at $38 per tin. Which begs the question is it made of gold that it has that price tag? Answer: yes. It has 24K edible gold and while I normally don't buy into this sort of product, I had to try it and I loved it and prefer it over any other brand (but use it very sparingly but the product is so awesome that you don't need much anyway). So it's a must-try, if not must-have.

Florame

Description

A UK-based company specialising in aromatheraphy, skincare and household products. They are eco-friendly and do their best to be natural and as organic as possible. I have only used their oil diffusers (which are fantastic and have already been recommended on ThisNext) and organic soaps but they have products beyond that range including health care products, skin care, perfumes, skin care for men, teas, specialist skin care and hair care as well as home care and I intend to test some of those products out but if the diffusers and soaps are anything to go by, I doubt I'll be disappointed. The price range is in the medium band but that's to be expected since they are "people-sized company" and I think my next purchase will be a perfume by them.

Monmouth Coffee Company

First to recommend

Description

I love coffee. It all began with me drinking the remanants of my mother's coffee as a child and the love affair has remained since so I am always on the hunt for good coffee and I like to buy products that help the local economy and encourage fair trade. That's when I stumbled upon Monmouth Coffee Company (that seems to be a trait with me) and while also a coffee shop (only three and all in London), they also sell their own coffee beans and they have some of the best blends I have ever had. The price is a little steep but then I am willing to pay that for good coffee that stimulates the local economy and is part of fair trade. It's probably around the same cost as Starbucks' coffee beans so it's not going to leave you in the poor house, unless you drink coffee like you drink water.

Aspinal of London Lindberg Travel Wallet

First to recommend

Description

Travelling just became oh-so-fantastic. This is one of products in the travel range by Aspinal of London (a company which I wish to have shares in and instead of receiving dividends, I want to receive products). After much saving and daydreaming, I finally bought it and while it isn't exactly doing much more than a $2 plastic wallet by keeping your travel documents and passport together, it's just so superior and at a price tag of 135, it had better be. Available in 4 colours: Ascot Pink, EBL Black, Navy Croc and Amazon Brown Croc (pictured to your left). Do you think Aspinal of London would pay me for this advertising (not that the need it but still). Oh and good news, you can purchase this in America and they have a direct line on their site for faster purchase.

Elle Cotton Knee High With Aloe Vera

First to recommend

Description

I travel a lot and it's a nightmare for my skin since dry skin is not only unattractive but uncomfortable too. Until I stumbled onto man's greatest invention after the wheel, computer and Internent -- moisturising socks. These aren't like those spa socks that you can get from Sephora.com. These cover upto the knee which is a Godsend since I don't have to carry lotion with me anymore (thus no extra security checks). The price is quite reasonable (nothing like throw away socks but for what it is, quite reasonable) and it is available in 4 shades, in sizes 4-7 (problematic for those with small feet but we'll live). Sadly, these are only available for women and I can't find anything similar for men. And a bonus, they are pure cotton which means no annoying synthetic material and none of the overheated feeling since these socks keep your legs cool.

Ladies Levante Energia Compression Socks

First to recommend

Description

Another part of my travel list. I wear these on top of the Elle moisturising socks. Those of you who travel, will know what a nightmare it can be for legs -- well these socks just made it easier. They keep the legs from getting pins 'n' needles and feeling like they are about to explode. Always a plus. They are slightly steep in price but hardly surprising given the technology and they are worth their weight in gold. Though I am only listing the women's socks here, they also have a similar product for men. Another travelling must-have!

Spasome Balms

First to recommend

Description

In another part of my 'easy travel products' quest, I found these fantastic balms -- congratulations to me. This company is specialist in producing natural skin-healing and body healing products -- so their range includes bath salts and soaks, essential oils, repair and rescue kits and most importantly, all over skin balms -- including nails, lips and eyes. I favour their Explorer balm, which is fantastic for healing the skin and protecting against insects and it smells really nice. I carry it on flights as well because it's not liquid so it's not a security risk, not messy and you have far greater control over the usage. The price is so reasonable and it's a joy to wear. Haven't gotten around to using their rescue kit (though I have it) but when I do, I'll review it. As for the salts, soaks and essential oils, I can't say much since I don't really use those products but if it's anything like their balms, it will be worth the buy.
