About this list:
I'm a housewife by default. I'd rather spend my free time (you know, when the kid's in school) reading, writing and watching TV, but since I'm the one in the house without gainful employment it's up to me to do the dreaded cleaning. So anything I can find that will allow me to cut the time I spend doing boring housework is on this list.

What could be easier than pouring this foaming powder down the bowl and flushing? (OK, you may have to scrub just a little bit -- but just a little is not bad.)

Description
I've been using this item for a couple of months now, and while it doesn't 100% eliminate my need to scrub the shower, it's cut down the amount I have to do considerably. I love this stuff!

Description
It works! I don't waste it on dishes, though -- this stuff is the easiest way to get rid of baked-on grease on your stove. I spray it on, wait a couple of minutes and then wipe with a damp sponge and wipe again with a dry paper towel. Sure beats scrubbing!

Description
So this is the only thing I'd like better than the Roomba. Because once you vacuum the floor, you have to wash it. Unfortunately, I don't know anyone who has one yet -- so cannot give you the personal recommendation I did with my sister's Roomba. (via David)

Description
I like a clean house but hate spending my time cleaning it. My sister has one of these, which she runs on her floor every other day and it does a really good job of keeping all the dust, dirt and pet hair under control. (via David)
