Description
If it is not staring at me in the face, threatening to kill me, or potentially leading to my utilities being disconnected- I'm going to ignore it.
Case in point: the very kind Electric Bills I receive monthly... I ignore. It's only the ugly orange ones that threaten to leave me light-less that get me writing checks.
Enter the doorganizer. I have a version of these on my doors at home and work where I can slip in important receipts, keys, bills and notes so they will always be on my radar.

Eggling

Description
Fun, decorative, customisable and eventually edible (at least the herbs). Will make a great gift for someone who 'has it all'. It wouldn't even matter if 10 other people had had the same idea - I could quite imagine having a whole collection of these little buggers.

Muji Travel Alarm Clock

Description
Fair enough. Stamp those four letters on anything and I will end up wanting it. Its true.
This MUJI desk clock is so wonderfully simple. Folded it looks like one of their signature brushed aluminum business card holders. Once opened, the transparent LCD screen shows the date and time. Thats it! No atomic clock, no usb synchronization, no color changing LEDs!
Being a MUJI whore isnt totally a bad thing though! MUJI products are fantastic and absolutely pure in their function. Stripped of all unessential garbage, you get beautiful products that work!

Page Up and Page Up Babies

Description
It's amazing how much easier it is to keep a document standing up using one of these, instead of trying to keep it in place using a hole punch and two heavy books... (I really wish they were my idea!)
What's even better is that they now come in 'baby' size, making them even more of an ideal corporate-but-not-sucky gift.

Description
These scary-cute "pets" have plant seeds for eyes. When you bury them, they reproduce! In any case, they would definitely make a memorable gift.

Description
The best thing about this book are the 150 empty pages. They follow short quotes or inspirational stories selected to give you a jolt of inspiration, and exist simply to let you capture that great idea you just had.
I got one for myself a couple of years ago, and loved it. Then we bougth one for our programmer guy, and got a few extra to give to clients and such. Let's just say chocolates would have had quite the same effect...

Banana Guard

Description
Like a helmet for your banana (no, not that one). Such a clever solution to the squashed-banana-at-the-bottom-of-the-bag problem!
It claims to "fit the vast majority of bananas" and has small holes to let your fruit breath. Comes in yellow, green, blue, purple and red.
