This is in my beach bag and I have no intention of retiring it for fall. It's a gel stick so no worries about sweeping up the bathroom floor afterward, and the subtle bronze shimmer doubles as roll on Michael perfume. Get the travel size so you can always bring with. You can glide it anywhere you want, even in the danger zones after a few hours of partying.

Kiehls Brightening Botanical Cleansing Cream

Description

this is a new facial cleanser from Kiehl's that really does do what it says. Even the first time I used it, the tone of my skin was more firm and had a really fresh glow. It made my pores invisible! I use it with the Bright serum/lotion as well.

Frederik Fekkai Coiff Bouffant Lifting and Texturizing Spray Gel

This stuff is awesome! I have long, fine hair that usually either gets sticky and webby with gels, sprays or mousses, but this spray gel is light and still provides amazing long-lasting volume.

NARS Lili Marlene Cream Eyeshadow

Description

This is a very beautiful colour on me. It blends beautifully (if you are not comfortable using your fingers then use with a cream eyeshadow brush) and gives the most gorgeous sheen to my eyelids. The color read as more medium blue than grey with no shimmer on my eyelid. It did crease a bit as the day wore on, but no more than any of my other eye shadows do (I have oily skin) but it did not fade. I found that putting this under some of my other powder shadows (like darker greys and even dark blues), increased their staying power, and changed their dimension in a beautiful way.

I like the packaging also because it's so small and sleek. As for this color, I like that little snap of color on the outer third of my lid, with my brown eyes. I also think it looks great in the crease or over traced over an eyeliner for a more unexpected eye look. By using a skin primer or a dusting of powder underneath, this will help with creasing and staying power too. (via narscosmetics)

Description

this is good for people with sensitive or combination skin, i think... you add this exfoliating powder to your regular cleanser and you can customize as much or as little of it as you want, so it's never too abrasive. (via bobbi brown)

really stays put. the best cream eyeshadow i've found -- even better than nars, but the colors aren't as dark as i like. nars has a lot of really bold color options. the best colors i've tried from bobbi are the beach bronze and black shadows. (via Bobbi B rown)
