The Remote-Controlled Pirate Ship
First to recommend
Description
Faithfully detailed to resemble an 18th century merchant vessel, this remote-controlled pirate ship has sails that hoist, a retractable plank, and 12 cannons. At the bow of the ship, a jib sail is attached to the bowsprit. A mizzenmast sail is fixed to the boom on the ship's stern, and the main mast has a crow's nest at the top with the traditional Calico Jack Rackam's Jolly Roger flag. All three masts have ratlines that are hand-tied and the sails have polycarbonate inserts that create a "wind blown" look when the ship is mounted on the display stand. The fiberglass hull ensures a watertight seal for the motor and the two-channel remote controls the ship from up to 500' away. Remote requires eight AA batteries. Includes charger that plugs into AC and a rechargeable battery that lasts up to six hours on a full charge. Minimal assembly. 40 1/2" L x 10 1/2" W x 42" H. (10 1/3 lbs.)

Bivalve necklace
First to recommend
Description
Three contoured shells - one tin oyster, one copper mussel, and one yellow brass snail shell - dangle together from a 18" length of sterling silver chain. Shells will all become distressed and discolored with normal wear, giving the appearance that this necklace has been hauled up from years spent in a chest under the sea.
