This is what I wore back in the day when I went out. This is stuff for going out to dinner, parties, or art openings. I think most of this stuff is affordable to everyone...the trick for me was to add a bit of flare and style to my wardrobe. I think you can do this with an occasional piece that makes you a little different...you don't want to go off the deep end, you just want enough of a bite to be updated and fashionable. I love scarves. They keep my neck warm on cold days and if I buy one of lighter weight keep me looking cool in brisk days. I have always bought mine with color in them. I usually wear pretty classic outfits( black and whites, all backs, or navy and browns.....) so I would brighten up the outfits with colored scarves....buy a red one or a grey and red one like this one......I especially love that this one is from Product Red....they will donate the earnings from this buy.

Want a warm jacket that you can take out to dinner? Buy a Navy Pea Coat. It has a real sense of style, is functionally warm, and will last you through the ages. I inherited mine from my Dad and I still wear it still. Wear it all the time...don't care if its that dark Navy Blue, it will go with your black outfits. And if not screw it !!! Its cool factor will work regardless.

Gap Merino Wool V-neck Sweater

I use to live in form fitting v neck sweaters from the Gap. Sweaters are universal. Buy a black one and dress it up with a pair of slacks and white dress shirt OR wear a pair of Jeans with them and add some cool jewelry to give you some flavor. But it could definitely be a staple in your wardrobe.

I love having trunk style underwear compared to just boxer briefs. Plus in boxers, I feel that there is too much movement for me. And you can now buy low rise trunks which helps all my jeans( I always wear low rise jeans ).

Black wool pants are a must. Buy some and wear them to your cousins wedding or wear them out to dinner with your girl. It really doesn't matter, you will love that you have them. These are really great. The cut is very clean and classic and the flat front says I am not an old man with no style.

I use to live in these boots !!! They held up to everything, were comfortable all day long, and if I got them shined to a glossy glow, they were the things that got me a fashion bonus. I actually still have my first pair that I bought at 18!!!

I have owned this watch for years...actually I bought it with my commission off my first art show when I was 21......15yrs ago. It is such a classic looking watch. You can't buy good denim for under 100 dollars now... thats unfortunate. I use to buy 501's and now I can't even do that.
