Roxy Sugah Ski Pole - Women's
First to recommend
Description
The right poles are critical to the success of any ski outing. For the casual skier something simple cool will suffice just fine. Hence, the Roxy Sugah Poles. They probably need to be replaced when you go into competition skiing, but should be great for now.

Atlas 11 Series Snowshoe
First to recommend
Description
There's one thing that sets these snowshoes apart and it's the spring-loaded suspension. It uses the spring from the frame to suspend the binding, allowing your foot to maintain a neutral position. trust me, it'll come in hand on an uphill hike.

The North Face Aleutian Bx Sleeping Bag
First to recommend
Description
Adventures are, almost always, planned around when it's time to sleep. So, it's really important that you can actually sleep and freezing half to death wont be very restful. So, that's what I recommend this North Face bag. The hooded sleeping bag is always a plus, but the ability of this bag to maintain warm temperatures in bellow freezing weather is nothing short os spectacular.

Black Diamond 3-Person 3-Season Tent
First to recommend
Description
No, this tent isn't made for a winter storm, but everything else it'll handle perfectly. Give this tent to someone who love camping and they'll be able to use it, nearly, everytime they go camping -- all year round. In fact, Outside magazine names the "gear of the year" a few years back.

Foursquare Newberry Pant - Womens
First to recommend
Description
Don't let the trim fit fool you. Make no mistake about it, these pants will withstand the most brutal mountain conditions. However, they'll look great in the mean time. And, when you get hot, just unzip the hidden outseam vents.

Klean Kanteen - 40 oz
First to recommend
Description
There's no doubt that reusable water bottles are all the rage these days. But for one reason or another Klean Kanteens are often overlooked. However, they're my favorite for one underlying reason, bigger opening -- convenient on many levels.
This stainless steal bottle is the perfect camping/hiking (and everything else) accessory.

Crazy Creek LongBack Chair
First to recommend
Description
I'm going to go out on a limb and say that a Crazy Creek is the most essential thing you can bring on a camping trip. Perfect for kicking it around the fire on a casual trip or great for resting on the most extreme trek you'll take.
