No, the sane solution for a cluttered desk is not buying a new desk. However, sanity died a quick and painless death when first I saw George Nelson's swag leg desk: insouciant cubbies, shapely legs, and check out the rack on top of that thing.

Cram Cream tapes are genius. I've used a similar tape (pigs only) to fashion a BBQ contest crown. And wrapping presents with barnyard tape is always a win.

For the way we watch TV chez moi, AppleTV is the ultimate: we get into a series and want to watch it through to the end. Right now, it's all about "The Office."
AppleTV sounds like it'll allow us to watch what we want to watch, when we want to watch it... even if it isn't something we've had the foresight to record.

I would like to meet the genius who dreamt up shining an LED clock THROUGH wood. Through it! As if it were transparent! Unreal... and so elegantly matched with the other lovely wood things in your home.
You can turn off the clock so the object becomes merely a lovely wood block... and them flip on the LED display when time is of the essence.

Every time I run, three unfortunate things happen:
1-I become entangled and strangled in my headphones when trying to remove or put on a layer.
2-I spaz out and hit my headphones' plug, thus pausing my iPod and having to extract it from its case to get it all set up again.
3-I realize I'm slow.
iMuffs can fix the first two. They might make my mood good enough that the third won't matter.
I'd love to use these at my desk, too... rather than getting yo-yoed back to my laptop around every time I get up.

Since I started using this, I rarely scream in public in frustration when digging through my bag. How did I live without this thing? Your earbud cord wraps around the center and the little bud thingies pop into the holes and your blood pressure drops.

It's so handy for laptop users... the USB stick clips to the mouse and automatically turns it off. Easy, portable, necessary.

All are devastatingly charming. Some are zippier than others. I'm not going to dork out and write about how it "handles" or its highway "MPG's" or whatever because, really, zzzzzzzzz... you've heard it all before. However, I will say that I appreciate how elegantly executed and sturdy my little four-wheeled friend is.
Also, among the 6 airbags that come standard, there are two that run along the sides, from front to back, that were refered to at the dealership as being the "sausages." That means my car has sausages! Built in! That makes me laugh. There is no better way to (a) spend your money or (b) start your commute than sharing a laugh with a trusted pal.
