I think it's written rather brilliantly...especially since everyone says the good TV is not network TV. I like that's it's not totally serial, there is some closure every week. I'm glad it survived the strike, can't wait for the second half of the season.

i've wanted one forever
and my parents gave me one for christmas
and i love it!

it intimidates me some, it's so much more 'camera' than the point-and-shoot i was used to (and complained about). but it's pretty intuitive and there are plenty of books to help with figuring out all the buttons.

I'm all about Masterpiece Theater. Their adaptations of the classics usually blow the Hollywood ones out of the water. This, though I'm not familiar w. the book, is no exception.

It's a sprawling Dickens tale. They say it's a rags to riches story. It has a touch mystery and suspense as well. And romance of course. I'm a old-time drama freak.
