Lilith Fair: A Celebration of Women in Music Various Artists

When Lilith Fair first made its way through town in the late 90s, it irked me. For those who do not know, it was the lolapalooza for the fairer sex.

"Why do women need their own music festival?", I asked. I prefered the more egalitarian events where all genders were represented.

Now that I am an old lady.... if Lilith Fair came around again, I would propably go. I can't say when this change of heart occured, but there it is.

This does not means I will start Celtic Women in heavy rotation, but when I realized some of my favorite music is now played on Life FM, I can't poo-poo lady lilly anymore.
