Samsung i620
First to recommend
Description
One of the things about the wireless world is that there are lots of markets, lots of phones, and lots of variations. The i620 may or may not be the next blackjack, it may or may not have 850 Mhz (if not, it won't work in the US), it may or may not be a good phone.
A few basics though:
- 3G HSDPA
- Slider
- Windows Mobile 6
- It's tiny
I like tiny. Just not the uber tiny keyboard.

Nokia 8600 - Luna

Description
Is that not just sexy or what? The Nokia 8600, codenamed Luna should be released in the coming weeks since it's received FCC approval.
The sweet looking slider runs on Series 40, has a 2-megapixel camera, quad-band GPRS/EDGE, Bluetooth, and a QVGA display.
Just a sexy little phone to pull out of your pocket when you're at the bar.

Motorola RAZR 2: The Sequel

Description
Motorola will ride the gravy train until the sun sets, but at least this is a nice improvement from all the typical aesthetic RAZR refreshes.
The new RAZR will come with 3G for all the respective networks, is 2mm thinner and will be running on the new linux platform.
A few other specs:
- Crystal Talk Technology
- External music controls
- A full HTML browser
- 2MP megapixel cam,
- 2-inch external display
The RAZR can't die soon enough, but at least they've made some nice changes. (via Engadget Mobile)

Excuse me while I take a moment to catch my breath. The HTC Kaiser is ONE BAD ASS device. Just to give you an idea of why:

- tri-band UMTS/HSDPA
- 3 megapixel autofocus camera
- Integrated GPS

Really, is there anything else that I need to write to justify its badass'ness?

Palm Treo 755p Smartphone - Sprint
First to recommend
Description
Good bye stub, hello smooth. I was never a fan of the Treo because of the big fat antenna stub, but with the release of the 755p, they've gone ahead and fixed the problem. The new Treo 755p comes in the standard blue and the fashionably loud burgundy (For those who want some flash). A quick specs review:
320 x 320 pixel display
128MB of RAM
321MHz XScale processor
EV-DO Rev. 0
miniSD memory card slot (up to 4GB)
1600mAh Li-Ion battery
Bluetooth 1.2
1.3 megapixel camera
Palm OS 5.4.9
I'm a little disappointed that it's rocking Rev 0 instead of Rev A (being widely deployed now) and I was never a big fan of the Palm OS. However, the diehard Palm OS lovers will love this little device that is now available on Sprint (via Engadget Mobile)

Samsung's SCH-B640 "Ultra Mobile TV"
First to recommend
Description
While we cheer for the newest rendition of the Motorola RAZR, South Koreans are looking at phones that provide LIVE SATELLITE TV!!! That's right, Samsung's new Ultra Mobile TV picks up satellite TV feeds, similar to how we pick up XM radio feeds. I am completely jealous.
The SCH-B640 specs out below:
2 megapixel cam
self-supporting swivel stand
dedicated phone on one side
multimedia features on the other
Granted, we're in the midst of a mobitv revolution, but that is nothing compared to devices like this.
