Some of my fashion favorites, with New Orleans in mind of course, but to be enjoyed by ladies (and gentleman) all across the globe. Dressing in New Orleans (i.e. New Orleans weather) is a task, and with a limited number of stores at our disposal, shopping for unusual items (ones that all the other girls at the bar don't have) can be a task. I hope this list can help.

Description
Confession: I wear them under almost everything. They make everything smoother and make you stand up straight. It's been rumored that certain sorority houses at the University of Texas (i.e. the most hardcore sorority chapters in the world) make all the women in the house wear them during Panhellenic recruitment parties.
I several pairs in both nude and black and want more more more. Santa, please remember this as a stocking stuffer this Christmas.

I have tops similar to this in black, teal, and white. I wear them with everything from denim skirts to black pants. They are a great way to dress up any casual denim and are are nice alternative to a boring old tank. Just be sure that the jewelry and other accesories work with this are basic. The version I have is from the Limited and I've heard they're available at Express as well.

Was St. Joe's named after the founder of Joe's Jeans? If not, it should have been.
This is my all time favorite pair of jeans - the "Socialite" by Joe's Jeans. As the website says, "what is a girl to do when she finds the perfect pair of jeans?" Wear them all the time, everywhere - class, Casual Friday at work (or everyday if you work in a laid back office like mine), out to a fancier bar/club, or to your favorite neighborhood bar. From Fat Harry's to the Bridge Lounge to a late night Winn Dixie run to shopping with the girls on Magazine on a beautiful Saturday - these jeans are a go everywhere anytime classic - a must have for the New Orleans socialite. Oh, and did I mention that they look FABULOUS on? For the ladies who are more generous on the backside such as myself, these jeans will have the fratty boys drooling and their girlfriends green with envy.
