About this list:

Carcharodon carcharias. The Great White shark. The beach right near my home is in the top 10 "shark attack beaches" in North America, and has been called the "granddaddy of all shark beaches." It's part of the Northern California "Red Triangle," in which has the highest concentration of shark attacks in the world. There have been 43 Great White shark attacks since 1952 (thank you, sharkattackfile.com.) So without further ado, here's my homage to the awesomest creature to ever exist. Be afraid.

I'm going to be obnoxious and say that this costume promotes the incorrect perception about great whites that they like to eat humans (they don't eat you, they just bite sometimes out of curiosity, ok?!?!) but it's freaking amazing so I don't even care. I'll just be obnoxious and say it anyways.

This Discovery channel video is the coolest thing in the world, I promise. It's all about capturing amazing footage of great whites flying out of the water ("breaching") to catch seals in mid-air. There's even a scene where 27 great whites start eating a dead whale in the middle of the ocean, and the photographer stands ON the whale carcass to photograph the sharks. Plus, best name ever.

Let me just say, I own this, and sitting on top of it is not as easy as that little girl makes it look. If anyone can figure out how to best get on this shark without capsizing I will be very grateful. But real sharks aren't easy to sit on either, so I mean whatever.

Live Water Surf Shop - No Sharks Gear

Description

This surf shop is in the famous town of Stinson Beach, that shark-infested surf spot near my home. Their no sharks logo is recognizable all over the bay area on bumper stickers, hoodies, and t-shirts. Although I like sharks, I'm not a huge fan of them attacking people and think I'd rather rep my NorCal beach.

Great White Shark Cage Diving :: Dive the Farallon Islands

Luckily, my birthday falls smack in the middle of great white season, so I'm asking for a 1 day cage dive in the Great White-infested Farallon Islands this year. You think I'm joking? I missed it last year and was really upset. Plus, it comes with continental breakfast on the boat.
