Spa at Home: Body Soap Set - a list by CarrollCanal

About this list:
I've never given (or received) a body soap set that didn't result in a huge, stupid smile. I don't know if it's the soap itself, or the instant fantasy of soaking in a bubble bath surrounded by 40-odd votive candles with a glass ice water flavored with lemon and cucumber slices on a coaster just in arm's reach, while a Bud Powell CD plays in the background. Or whatever you're into.

Best Of Korres
4 people recommended this item
Description
I was introduced to Korres while in Edinburgh at the Glasshouse Hotel--in a room that was soooo fabulous I had to snap a bunch of pictures of it, before I "ruined" it by throwing my stuff everywhere. The bathroom was huge and modern, with the most amazing soaking tub and these floor-to-ceiling windows. I thought it couldn't get any better. Then I got a look at the house bath products! Yep...Korres.
I've been a fan ever since. The rice shampoo is my absolute favorite shampoo out there. And the grape seed scrub is pretty great, too. This "Best of Korres" body soap set (and more) is an excellent intro to this amazing, natural line of products. Also way more convenient than traveling all the way to Scotland to snag a few "extra" bottles from the maid's cart.

Bamboo soap dish

Description
I love the simple, natural curve of this bamboo soap dish. If I balance a rectangular soap ju-u-ust right, its underside will dry completely--instead of turning to mush/

Eva Solo ice cube cooler

Description
If I'm gonna play Spa, what better addition than this ice cube cooler? I'll roll up my little white facecloth and let it get nice and frosty atop the cubes while I steam open my pores.

TearDrop iPod Bathroom Speaker

Description
These iPod speakers are so smart. Now I don't have to crank the stereo up in the living room in order to have spa music. Which I'm sure my neighbors will appreciate. (Not to suggest that my spa experience soundtrack of choice is Metallica.)

La Luz Bath Milks, Soaps, Lotions And Candles
First to recommend
Description
I'm a sucker for packaging. These Mexican soaps come in a jar that reminds me of a milk bottle. (You know, when there was a milk man that made deliveries right to the Cleavers' back door each morning?) La Luz soaps and lotions smell so good & fresh and look great in my bathroom.
