Morton Salt Substitute
First to recommend
Description
Sodium is a ubiquitous silent killer that leads to a whole host of diseases and conditions. It's wise to maintain a low-sodium diet which entails cutting out processed and fast foods and preparing as much of your own food as possible. Morton's Salt Substitute provides an excellent salt-free replacement. It's actually Potassium Chloride (potassium being an alkali metal similar to sodium). Though it has a slightly bitter taste, you can use it generously and it provides a near salt flavor without the adverse health effects.

If you're a gardener, consider planting some celery seeds. I'm a huge fan of celery and any leafy green vegetable for that matter. Celery however, has been observed to be a natural way for reducing blood pressure. It's been reported that eating just 4 stalks per day can have the same lowering effect as certain blood pressure medication among other health benefits.
