My friend has tickets has tickets to Rockfest in Kansas City, MO. It's only mere hours from where I live. But, was I invited or even asked if I wanted tickets? No I wasn't. I may have to rethink this friendship. So, instead of tickets to a 15 band, day long "fest" all I have is this freakin' list. *sigh*

This is their debut cd. "Wicked Soul" is getting some air play on stations that cater to us rockers. I've heard a couple of cuts & I'm definitely getting the cd.

ASHES dIVIDE - Keep Telling Myself It's Alright

The band is relatively new. But the lead singer, Billy Howerdel, was part of A Perfect Circle. Haven't gotten the cd yet, but it's on my list of "must haves".

I couldn't be more excited about this band! It is comprised of the current "music portion" of Godsmack, a former Godsmack guitarist & former Ugly Kid Joe frontman Whitfield Crane. I have this cd & I love it. Definitely disappointed that I'm not gonna be seeing them in concert this time around.
