Winter Jasmine Bouquet
First to recommend
Description
Here is a beautiful and fragrant "holiday-style" gift that many would love to receive. I'm not all that crazy about the basket or the bird and bow accents, but the contents are to die for. The evergreen foliage and the winter-white blooms would brighten any room. You could re-gift the basket to your elderly neighbor, filled with something else special. (via jacksonandperkins.com)

Rosemary Tree in Wrap
First to recommend
Description
I'm not much on XMas trees, just blame the Grinch in me. However, I would ship this Rosemary Tree off to anyone I know that enjoys gardening or cooking in a heartbeat. These trees are so easy to care for, so decorative and fragrant, that they will be a joy for months. Perhaps longer depending on how green the thumb of the gift recipeint. (via jacksonandperkins.com)

Herb Quartet In Tea Kettle Pot
First to recommend
Description
I love this combination of herbs: sage, thyme, rosemary and oregano. I think they did a great job of combining them in a gift set for gardener and cook alike. Sadly, I don't believe the watering can is real. So, if it were given to me, just because of my own personal style and taste, it would again be re-gifted to some elderly neighbor with some assorted teas and biscuits. However, I think it makes a nice display for the home gardener, especially. Then the plants can be transplanted later. (via jacksonandperkins.com)

Fragrant Lavender Wreath - Jackson & Perkins
First to recommend
Description
What a wonderful idea for a wreath! For the boring evergreen wreaths that you normally see around this time of year. Imagine the surprise of receiving such an aromatic and gorgeous decoration. This wreath is hand-tied in the Pacific Northwest, and is delivered in a shake-proof container which insures that it will arrive in perfect condition. (via jacksonandperkins.com)

Herb Duo Basket
First to recommend
Description
This fresh rosemary and trailing mint basket would make a thoughtful gift for the novice gardener and cook alike. Both of these herbs are quick-growing (especially the mint) and a fairly easy to attend to. I have had mixed luck with rosemary. I think the trick is to remember that rosemary is an evergreen, and is very susceptable to overwatering. It also goes through a dormant period during the winter when it isn't agreeable to much fertilizing or watering. It's important to do research on any herb or plant you are growing for the first time. USB Greenhouse

Description
This is a pretty cool gadget! Now I'm dying to know how well it works. This mini greenhouse plugs into any USB port using a 4-ft. cable. It has an adjustable grow light on top, and a computer interface that monitors growth status and sets up watering alerts. You can grow herbs, flowers or house plants. It wipes clean. The set includes; USB Greenhouse, soil, Marigold seeds, and more. Make sure to read the computer system requirements before you purchase this for yourself or anyone else.
By the way, this photo doesn't show it, but the other side of this pod is clear, so that you can watch your garden grow.

Grow Your Own Bonsai Village
First to recommend
Description
It's difficult to get a good idea of what this terrarium garden looks like from the photo. However, I get the impression that the design is ultimately up to you. Strictly DIY (Do it yourself). However, the concept sounds intriguing.
This mix of bonsai contains Elm, Lilac, Pea Shrub, Beauty Bush and Butterfly Bush. All very decorative, fragrant and beautiful plants. The kit also includes authentic woodland covcer, bonsai decals and stakes, a growing terrarium, planting and drainage mixture, and growing and care instructions.
The terrarium measures 8" in diameter and is 7" in height.

Description
In my opinion, trees are awesome - literally. They produce oxygen, absorb carbon dioxide and other contaminants from the air. They also provide us with awe-inspiring beauty, shade, and food.
What a great gift one of these all-in-one kits would make! Everything you need is included, and a portion of the proceeds from each sale in donated to charities devoted to the replenishing of forests. You can choose from Date Palm or Apple trees (what sort of apple tree wasn't specified).
The kit includes: Coconut coir pot, seeds, germination mixture, plant stake, germination bag and instructions.

Description
Fun, decorative, customisable and eventually edible (at least the herbs). Will make a great gift for someone who 'has it all'. It wouldn't even matter if 10 other people had had the same idea - I could quite imagine having a whole collection of these little buggers.
