a lits of some of my faves. just a little bit of background...i've always had problem skin (really oily & prone to breakouts) and have tried a ton of stuff from over the counter to prescription stuff so i always have to be careful of what i put on my face. i also have very pale skin and dark hair...so keep this in mind when browsing my favorites list. hope this helps!

i have seriously oily hair and unlike my normal-dry hair friends if i skip a day of washing my hair i look like a total scum bag. you can imagine the daily pressure that both my hair and i suffer so i was super excited to lulu organics hair powder. it absorbs the oil in your hair and gives it a fresh clean smell without the use of any harsh chemicals. yes, all natural ingredients. now all i have to do is decide between tuberose, lavender or sage.

Benefit Benetint at Sephora

I have always been terrified of Benetint, the liquid consistency gave me nightmares of having big red circles on my cheeks. But once I spoke to an expert at Benefit's new LA store, I have seen the light.

To apply mark an "X" on each cheek then quickly blend upward.

The great part of Benetint is that it gives a natural glow and doesn't look at all like you applied an obnoxious amount of blush. (via WeLoveBeauty)

this balm makes my uneven and slightly scarred face look great. it has a nice matte finish that doesn't look or fell cake-y. it has a velvety smooth finish and i definitely feel like it evens out and reduces the imperfections in my skin. i usually just wear it alone. i'm not a huge make up person so i don't wear it every day but i do use it on those special occasions when i want picture perfect skin.

i love benefit products and this is one of my favorites. its a color correcting eye lid primer and it works great. really evens out my skin tone and makes my eyeshadows pop. its also really great on its own, it sort of brightens up my eyes when applied on its own and it looks natural and not makeup-y at all.

Caudalie Sauvignon Scrub

caudalie makes all natural beauty products mainly from grape seeds, so righ off the bat it gets extra brownie points from me...but this scrub is pretty amazing. its unscented so there are no weird smells and the scrub is in that perfect "not too harsh but still really effective" area. my skin is smooth and soft without any redness or irritation.

Bliss Naked Body Butter

once again, i've been sucked into a product due to a free sample i received. this lotion is so great. it really makes my skin super soft and not oily at all. it's pretty fast absorbing and the softness is long lasting. more importantly, it has never caused me to break out. i can't have enough of this stuff.

Blinc Kiss Me Mascara

i really like that this stuff never smudges. i've tried a bunch of different mascaras and have stuck with waterproof for the most part because of smudging...but this is quite different. it doesn't flake off and when you wash it off with warm water & soap it comes off as little "tubes"... i pretty much just slide it off my eyelashes which is pretty cool. i also have to say that it holds a curl pretty well which has always been an issue for me with my super-straight eyelashes.

i use this all over my face to help treat current break outs and help prevent future ones and so far have been very successful with it. i have very oily skin and this seems to help with that without totaly drying out my face which most other products often do.

Murad Skin Perfecting Lotion

this is by far the best lotion i've ever used. i have very oily skin that is easily prone to break outs so buying a moisturizer has always been a challenge. murad has somehow found the right combination to get my skin soft, breakout free and moisturized because although i may need to combat oily-ness i also need to keep my face moisturized.
