Great Green Goods - a list by todbrilliant

About this list:
Remember, the movement toward a sustainable future will not be built upon buying DIFFERENT products, but buying LESS. Don't think that 'buying organic' will save the world. The world needs less of everything, except education. And remember, marketing is not education. So don't believe the green hype. . . it's just a sales gimmick in many cases. That said, here are some things that I feel fine about purchasing!

John Ferdinand Passion Cufflinks
2 people recommended this item
Description
It would appear that the wood from these great looking cufflinks is not only from sustainably-farmed stands, but also scrap wood (from furniture manufacturing).
The company's mission statement sounds solid. I look forward to seeing how John Ferdinand develops, and will watch its dedication to environmental and fair trade practices closely.
I very much hope they start sourcing reclaimed metals as well. If and when this happens, they will be true pioneers. (via markarmstrong)
