Description
Alton Brown uses these dispensers for rice, lentils and beans. They are air tight, and you turn the handle and it dispenses the right amount. They are great for kids so they don't take too much cereal and super for the cooks in your family!
They look super in a trio or more! (via The Container Store)

Fresh Herb Pot
6 people recommended this item
Description
I buy bundles of herbs all the time from the store, and they're wilty in two days! This pot is made for those herbs - just put some water in the bottom, stick it in the fridge, stick your herb bundles in there, and they'll last a lot longer. It's a great money saver because you get more out of your herbs. I just bought it for my Dad for Father's Day yesterday!

Saeco Villa Super-Automatic Espresso Machine
First to recommend
Description
We've had this gift of a machine in our family for years, adoringly named Luigi. Luigi wakes us up every morning with the touch of a button. Fill the water tank and put beans in the compartment, and you'll have freshly ground espresso shots in thirty seconds. Saeco makes the easiest espresso machine I have ever used. Not to mention we have had one for 4 years now, used at least four times daily, and he (Luigi) still works like a dream. It also steams milk with the twist of a dial, making espressos and lattes easy as well. There is also a "coffee" button if you ever are craving a good ol' cup o joe. A great investment for any coffee drinker. This machine does it all for you.

Description
The Santa Barbara Olive Company makes really good olive products. These are a true indulgence of mine. Great to chop up and add to salads or food while cooking. I usually just eat them out of the jar though, because they're just that good.

TREE STUMP CUTTING BOARD

Description
I just discovered this product and think it's so cool. Why didn't anyone think of this sooner? This cutting board looks eclectic in your posh (or not so posh) kitchen and is eco-friendly. The designer made them from fallen maple trees. What a guy! A fun gift for any chef. Two, please!

Aside from encouraging/reminding you to eat more salad, the servers are made of renewable bamboo. How's that for killing two birds with one stone?

Description
These are a must have for preparing meals. Perfect to mix your own salad dressing in, measure out portions, or whisk up some cucumber salad. This is also a great deal: 4 high quality bowls for a low price. I use my mixing bowls all the time when baking or cooking. Plus they're stackable so they'll save you some space!

Clorox Disinfecting Wipes
7 people recommended this item
Description
I use these all the time in my house. Common germy places are door handles, toilets, telephones, keyboards, remotes, tv buttons, etc. Great and easy way to disinfect your things and feel more comfortable eating a sandwich after typing on your keyboard at work.
Oh and for college? These are essential. Those bathrooms and door handles and everything in between get soo nasty. A good disinfectant is a must.
