I'm a big fan of horror movies and was surprised that I actually liked this, Rob Zombie's version of the John Carpenter classic. But it was horrifying by both modern and classic standards. It was interesting seeing what Michael Meyers was as a psychotic kid and how that played out in his murderous rampage. Would be perfect for a Halloween party.

This movie doubles as a horror movie and a spoof of a horror movie. It's genius.

Usually I'm not a big fan of these gross-out type of horror films but this one was a guilty and disturbing pleasure. Lots of terrifying moments that's sure to make your party guests squeal.

This could be a fun movie to screen if you want to have an '80s theme Halloween party. Play cheesy '80s music before and after enjoying this violet satire starring Christian Bale.

One of the very few sequels that may have actually surpasses the original. How can you go wrong with a rag tag group of bad ass space marines?

If you're looking for another good ol' slasher flick besides Halloween, this is it. Randy couples, crazed serial killer and the final survivor. Oh, and Kevin Bacon's in this.

Another oldie but goodie and certainly seems tame compared to all the torture porn taking over the horror genre today but is still fun to watch. And poor Johnny Depp. No one that cute should get offed in such a way.

THE zombie movie to see. This black and white Romero classic still grosses me out to this day. "They're coming to get you, Barbara!" is one of my favorite all-time quotes.

Although this movie was known to nauseate many movie goers in the theater for its frenetic camera work, it's one of my favorite monster movies. The movie starts with a party, could be eerie when screening it at your own Halloween party.

I remember watching this Ridley Scott sci-fi horror when it first came out and it terrified me to no end. Had nightmares for weeks. But also definitely a terrifyingly fun movie to watch with a group.
