Ergonomical Fire Extinguisher

Description

One of man's first big accomplishments was figuring out how to make fire. Then he had to figure out how to put it out before burning the whole damn place down.

Here's a stylish way to keep some control.

from the Design Blog:
Sporting a simple, fuss-free form, the X Sting Wish couldn’t have got more user-friendly. Just like a gun, aim and pull the trigger. Tweaked with many firing dousing options like CO², water and powder, it also features in-built LEDs that can help to illuminate your way to the problem area.

Dialogue Carpet

Description

Designer Ane Lykke has taken a provocative approach to the function of carpet, one that urges participation and a "Don't tread on me, PLAY with me!" approach. Which is all lovely, indeed. But frankly, I'm too busy wanting to just dive into this lush creation to intellectualize it.

Cream Rose Bouquet by Martha Stewart

First to recommend

Description

White pumpkins were all the rage for Halloween so I'm going to guess that white roses will be part of the trend this holiday season...

I've ordered Martha Stewart's roses many, many times and I have to say this for the girl, she knows how to grow 'em. Or how to hire people who know how to grow 'em. They far and away outlast any other freshly cut flowers I've ever ordered.

What a memorable baby gift! This is one of those crafty things parents "always mean to do" but then life gets away from them and before they know it, the kids are all grown up.

So this holiday season, give someone something to treasure- a kit that will capture the beauty of the most precious gift of all- their children.

Patricia Field has some fantastic jewelry finds on her site, with this Andrew Hamilton Crawford Pill Necklace being pretty high on the cool list. Anything that celebrates dysfunction of any kind gets a "hell, yeah!" from me....
