About this list:
I am what most would consider an old timer these days when it comes to skating. Yeah, I grew up with the Bones Brigade, The Search for Animal Chin and skateboards that only had one tail to ollie with. These days, you aren't going to see me doing a Nollie Heel Flip to Tail Slide down a thirty step kinked rail, but you may see me bust some crazy Power Slide!!! These are the skateboarding products and companies I have used and continue to use. SKATE OR DIE!!!
Qualifications:
Been kick'n and push'n since 1984

Luke Chueh vs. Monkey Deck

Description
While I won't claim to have found this wonderful little piece of skateboard art (NOTCOT had it posted to her site), I am truly awe struck that artist have taken skateboard decks as an art medium. The "Luke Chueh vs. Monkey" deck combines two of my passions, art and skateboarding.

Element: Wicker Jacket

Description
I just picked up the Wicker Jacket by Element Skateboards. The jacket is the perfect alternative to a $300+ North Face jacket. The jacket is quilted nylon with down filling and a poly shell and lining. Element has added a removable faux fur trimmed hood (nothing like a little fur), knit collar and cuff linings for added comfort and warmth. The lining inside is a custom plaid print designed by Element. One of the reasons why I bought this particular jacket is because it also has a "Flap Waist" which will be nice since I am a little taller than average.

DC Shoes: Command

Description
While DC shoes aren't the most stylish, they are one of the most supportive shoes that exist. DC always makes their shoes to last, kind of like "Tuff Skin" jeans. They take a licking and keep on ticking. The shoes are solid and worth your money. For those kids just getting into skating, don't worry about what people think or skate. Honestly, think about what your parents are going to want for you (Support, Safety, Quality).
These kicks are supportive, last forever and don't say "Keds" on them. DC is one of the top skate companies out there... Give the kicks a try and skate on!!!

Black Bones: Swiss Bearings
First to recommend
Description
Nothing like having a job and some money. Back in the day, I would ride bearings till they stopped moving. These days I can pay the $32.00 for a great set of high quality Swiss bearings from Bones. The bearings are super smooth and don't slow down what so ever. I think I may have actually been going up hill without even push'n.

Element: Riser Pads
First to recommend
Description
Believe it or not, riser pads existed back in the day, and then vanished. I am glad they are back as they give me just a little more distance from the tail to the ground for ollies. There are several brands out there; I use Element because I like the company more than the others.

Element: Featherlight White Text Wheels
First to recommend
Description
I really only skate two brands of wheels and obviously Element is one of those. The Featherlight wheels offer a smooth ride and are a little lighter than other brands. I of course, can use all the help I can when it comes to getting my board a little higher off the ground.
