Gold Faux Shagreen Shells

First to recommend

Description

I love shagreen (stingray skin, pronounced sha-grin), both faux and real. I think these faux shagreen shells are kind of witty because they're shells made out of stingray skin -- get it? The gold, of course, makes them totally glam!

Large Gold Cast Coral Candlestick

2 people recommended this item

Description

The coral candlestick looks so realistic because it is cast from an actual coral branch. Nice touch of nature in your home. Great for that Hollywood Regency/Glam look, especially if you live near the beach... or just wish you did.

Pricey, but amazing.

Robert Goossens made a name for himself designing costume and fine jewelry for Parisian design houses including Chanel, Dior, and Yves Saint Laurent. The quintessence of craftsmanship from one of Paris' most celebrated designers, these hand-cast bronze frames are bound to illuminate your most treasured memories.

Sea Urchin Pot

Description

This little piece is a study in contrasts. The curvy white porcelain pot feels feminine, sexy, sinuous. The prickly black sea urchin on top feels naughty, sharp, dangerous. Very cool.

pair of mussel eaters

First to recommend

Description

I love steamed mussels! Once, while traveling in France, someone showed me how to use an empty mussel shell to open all the other mussel shells so that I didn't miss a morsel. These silver plated mussel pincers are much more elegant.
