I discovered Ms. Yerby's work several years ago at Cog & Pearl, a lovely shop in my old neighborhood in Brooklyn. Her mixed media collage work has a distinct New York vibe without being self-consciously so. She creates collages that incredibly eye-catching. I bought a small piece for myself a while back and have also given her work as gifts. Each piece has a different photographic theme (water towers on rooftops, NYC landmarks, etc) and is truly one of a kind! You can also check her our at www.fauneyerby.com.

Description

They have some of the HOTTEST belt buckles I've ever seen. Unique, different, really damn cool. I got a great one as a gift for my birthday, and there are tons more I'd like to buy. Quality leather on the belts. Hot hot hot!

Brilliant. This woman is absolutely brilliant. I've been a huge fan of her work for years and have seen her website bloom from a place to buy a set of cards to a full-fledged e-commerce: messenger bags, totebags, magnets, cards, luggage tags (!), and -- of course -- compacts and air-fresheners. This stuff makes great gifts!!

Her work has inspired a lot of copycats, but her acerbic wit and grasp on irony are the real deal.
