Autumn Harvest Pumpkin Tureen | Williams-Sonoma

Description
The new and modernday Thanksgiving menus are now including wonderful autumn-inspired soups as starts to the main meal. I couldn't think of anything more suitable than an actual pumpkin to store and serve food and also decorate a gorgeous holiday tablesetting.

Autumn Harvest Plates, Set of 4 | Williams-Sonoma

Description
It's been suggested that this set of 4 plates be used for salads or appetizers, but I would definitely use these at the end of the meal when serving up those wonderful slices of pumpkin or apple pie. This set would also make a great set for the hostess in your family.

Orange Pekoe Cup & Saucer

Description
I love the impatiens blossoms of this cup and saucer set. It also comes in white but I think the orange pair looks so much more inviting.

What a wonderfully colourful graphic patterned tray. This serving tray designed by Maria Dahlgren shows Stockholm's most important places in such a fashionable way.

IKEA Place mat

Description
This one is definitely not just for the kids! Call me a bird nerd if you will, but I must have anything with birds! If you know me well and have seen my home you'll know I decorate with birds, yellows, and many elements from nature. This placemat is perfect for everyday use (especially with the kids - SPILLS!) and even when you have company. These placemats also compliment the serviettes that I picked up this summer. The entire BUSIG collection is something to look into for sure!

IKEA - DUKTIG tea set
First to recommend
Description
I'm not sure about your children but mine want to do and have everything that they see adults have. Drinking coffe and tea is no exception! My 20 month year old son loves to run around the table and pick up coffee mugs and tea cups and pretend he's drinking. Yes, my son would be playing with a tea set but he has so much fun. These are made of heavy-duty porcelain and are made to take regular use and play.

If you had told me that I would one day have elephants in my kitchen I would have laughed at you. This has quickly become one of my favourite serving trays not just for the kids but also for when I have guests over for tea and coffee. The colour combinations and the parade of elephants makes it hard not to notice!

Vaxduk Family Tree blå, metervara - Ferm Living
First to recommend
Description
One of my favourite wallpapers from Ferm Living now comes as a tablecloth! For any of you that have kids you'll appreciate just how easy these are to keep clean and the pattern still makes you feel like an adult without compromising quality and design. Despite the fact that this is just a tablecloth, it still tops my list as a favourite gift idea. It's modern, easy to keep clean, and can be used daily. It's well worth investing in one of these if you want to add some life into your diningroom but don't want to worry about stains and ironing.

Verner Panton termokoppar från Menu
First to recommend
Description
This set of thermo-mugs from Menu are classic, modern, and colourful. (Not to mention award-winning!) Verner Panton's colourful pattern called Geometry 1 from 1960 represents the first and most wellknown design that also received the Internation Design Award for 1963. We gave this set to my sister-in-law for her wedding and it received so many compliments and interest. They became known as the "fancy shmancy" mugs. :)
