Description

Confession: I don't have kids.
Additional confession: If I DID have kids, I don't know that I'd have the patience to use cloth diapers, even though I love the earth.

If you do however, you are in luck because this lovely lady makes the ka-yootest little snuggly washable diapers that I have ever seen. I point most of the new moms I know this way - you know, just in case they really do have time to do it all.

(dying for the cupcake and little hedgehog embroideries - squee!)

Home Grown Soap by longwinterfarm on Etsy

If you're going to gift someone with the gift of lye, for the love of clean and supple hands, please go with some nice, kick ass soap and not that yummy smelling orange blossom one from Trader Joe's.
I swear this soap cured my skin woes after a few days of use. It's MAGIC and the fragrances are to die for.

Air Plant City - Tillandsia For Sale

Description

Want to thank someone with the gift of life? Don't kill yourself donating eggs (or sperm) or feel pressured to offer yourself up as a surrogate. Get them an airplant! It doesn't even matter if they don't have a green thumb, these little babies live on AIR. You'd practically have to try to kill them. And if your friend is trying to kill the airplant you got for them, you should be glad you opted out of the whole baby thing.
Personally I want to put a bunch into those little glass bubble vases or maybe a Wardian case.

Description

I love this line. I love the idea of it, I love the designs, I love that it's local. The prices seem a little full of themselves though. Yes, I know it's one of a kind, yes I know great design aesthetic went into it; both of which make you feel like it must be couture.
It really is just found stuff attached together though. . . . to buy and support the art, or to be inspired and make my own?
Either way I am seriously lusting.
