About this list:
If you cannot take time off from work this summer, take a vacation from one or two of your habitual modes of being. If you always go conservative, try something a little more colorful in your wardrobe. If you always use email, try writing a letter. If you always watch independent films, try going to a blockbuster. If you always read non-fiction, venture over to the mystery or science fiction aisle in the bookstore or your local library. You get the idea. Deviate to rejuvenate.

I will be taking my own advice. (Ask me how, if interested)

If you work with printers, you are probably all too familiar with the acronym "CMYK". If not, it is the abbreviation for the colors cyan, magenta, yellow along with black (which is theoretically not a color, according to color theory.) Sounds dull until you dive into one of the volumes and see just how interesting monochromatic design can be. Whether you are looking for some inspiration for your home or your art or your life, these books will provide an interesting new vantage point.
