Motorola MOTORIZR

First to recommend

Description

This phone is just fantastic. First caught a glimpse of it from my favorite unlocked GSM phone webstie. www.worldphone.com So as a present to myself back in Feb. of this year I decided to splurge and buy the darn thang. Mind you I bought it before T-mobile came out with it and oh by the way did I mention I had T-Mobile service? Still enjoy my unlocked version. I can do things on it that normal T-Mobile people can't with theirs. The Slider feature is huge in my book. I had the Moto V365 and let me tell ya that thang had issues with the hearing part and I was just getting sick of flip phones.

So I decided the next phone I want had to be a slider. I hate the regular brick phones like the Moto Slvr. So when it finally came in the mail i took my sim card out of my old phone and popped it into my new phone. It's also a mp3 player. great bonus, personal voice recorder, and some other goodies. Overall very pleased with this phone, I also have a LG Chocolate (the new one) with Verizon and I still think my Moto Rizr is better. especially on battery life.

SAMSUNG's Digital World MP3 Player

First to recommend

Description

When I was looking into a mp3 the most important thang was ease of use. I wanted to be able straing plug n play right out the box to my cpu. with the Samsung t9 I have that. Unlike majority of people I'm not addicted to Ipod's infact I'm so against them it's not even funny. I don't want to have to download software to my cpu to be able to play with my mp3 player. With the Samsung t9 I can just hook up via USB and I'm in the game. I just Windows Media player to transfer my music. Of course there is a software cd that is included with the box but I would only use that for transferring video's to my mp3. It comes in 2 different sizes. 2Gigs and 4Gigs. I really wanted the 4 but went with the 2 since it came in my favorite color, Purple. Overall a great investment. Can't wait to see what's in store from Samsung in their future installments of mp3 players. Oh and don't forget the built in FM tuner.

Kensington K33902US Bluetooth USB Micro Adapter: Electronics

First to recommend

Description

Pros: small, works for laptops that don't have built-in bluetooth capability
Cons: none so far

"Excellent product so far, bought it last night from the job and it was easy set-up. Also bought the new Microsoft Bluetooth Mouse 5000 and it paired up wonderfully. I thought the mouse worked better with the bluetooth version than the regular wireless one's at my location.

Even paired my LG chocolate (the new version) and it was able to so far transfer pics and also has the option of being a dial-up modem if need be via bluetooth. Also very small so you don't have to take it out of your laptop like the larger versions. Keep it in a USB port that you won't need and it will automatically link up when you turn your laptop on.

Great Product!!!!"

Xbox 360

Description

No college freshman should enter into a university without being fully prepared. These days, "fully prepared" means being armed with a suitable gaming device. And don't kid yourself, the Xbox 360 is the ultimate college gaming device. Do yourself a favor and buy this for your new graduate, before they end up selling plasma for a gaming fix -- college is stressful.

Sidekick LX Hiptop 3

Description

I had heard abou this phone back during the summer of 2007. I was curious about them and went into a Tmobile store and asked some questions about them. I became interested in them and signed up via email to get an early alert on when they would release. I received an email in early October about 1 week before they were to officially launch and they had a deal where you could get it before other people and at a cheaper price. Well since I had been with Tmobile since 2002 I never upgraded my phone via throughTmobile before and thought it was time to give it a chance.

I received my phone on October 20, and put it all together, it seemed to work ok out the box and only had one minor issue that I had to go to a Tmobile store to fix but beyond that it's worked okay. from time to time it might power cycle itself off but that happens maybe once a month. Making phonecalls was a bit of challenge at first because I'm used to slider and flip up phones. That would be probably one of my main gripes that i wish the screen was touch sensative. Being able to get on to the different IM messengers is a huge plus as well as the Myspace application which I can not live without.

The interent is okay but it still needs improvements. I wish I could get on secure websites like Bank of America's mobile website, but unfortuntely it states the browser doesn't meet their security standards, yet my Verizon Chocolate can access the website just fine. Also the speed could stand some serious tweeking. the option to download other applications is a nice touch but I wish you could download your own personal screensaver when you cycle through the features you wish to access. Not just the screensaver section when you are not using the phone.

the speaker phone is very good and so is the battery life. the email option is a nice touch but I wish it could sync with ACTIVE SYNC and microsoft application. Yet since microsoft bought Danger, hopefully that will be on the new device. Overall a good buy, if you still want the 2way device style feel but a more mature version. Then the LX is the way to go.

HP Laptop dv9715nr

First to recommend

Description

Excellent laptop that I bought from my job, BestBuy. Was in the market for a laptop and there were different requirements that had to be met.

- It had to be 17" for viewing pleasure
- At least 2 GB's of Ram and 200 GB hard drive with the option of upgrading
- Built in Web-cam.
- Built in Wi-fi
- Look appealing

I looked into different laptop manufactures and pretty much it was the bang for the buck that really made the decision for me. The cost of this laptop was just more to my advantage than looking at the Toshiba's, Dell's, Sony's and other competitors. Overall excellent laptop. Would highly recommend

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas for Xbox 360

Description

Simply amazing game. I enjoy the Call of Duty series and a friend I met through Xbox live told me if I enjoyed that series then I had to give Rainbow Six a try. Let me tell you something, the only thing I wish it had was more checkpoints. But beyond that this game is simply phenominal. Being able to control a swat team to follow your lead and take orders from running across the room, to taking cover, to getting ready to open a can of whoop-ass on whomever is on the other side of a closed door. It's just simply put......perfection.

Give this game a run for it's money. Can't wait to buy Rainbow Six: 2.
