Le Palais des Thes

Description

With so many soulless products that are thoughtlessly stuffed onto shelves, its great to see someone producing something real. Le Palais des Thes (The Tea Palace) is just one of these companies. Their people actually know what they are doing and are very passionate about their work. It shows.

Purists at heart, their teas are skillfully picked and blended. Even their more whimsical combinations have to be taken seriously. Not to mention, their retail stores are fabulous! Modern packaging and a great collection of related products bring this product to life.

My favorite: Blue of London (a very fragrant Earl Grey)

Featured in O, The Oprah Magazine.

Available online and in their boutique stores: France, Belgium, Japan, Norway and Beverly Hills. (via Le Palais des Thes)

Elixir Tonics & Teas

First to recommend

Description

I don't do yoga, but I do do Liquid Yoga. It's one of the tonics formulated by Elixir Tonics & Teas and - according to the little blurby product info thing - it was "conceived thru an enchanting blend of calming botanicals such as jujube, Chinese peony, fleece flower, longan, and Aucklandia." All I know is Liquid Yoga tastes like superdeeelish apricot heaven, and I love how Elixir serves it up all bubbly and fizzy. Also, the Elixir cafe on Melrose is one of my favorite places in all of L.A., totally Zen and secret-garden-like.
