Many , many years ago I bought Michael Arams designs for my stores,,,, his is an interesting story: in the gasp 1980's while in New Delhi MA wandered into a back alley and found laborers pounding steel, brass and copper into beautiful everyday objects, nails, buckets, etc. ..being a designer and a scuptor and having always wanted to work with metal...Michael was awed and once watched for six hours shovels being made....many moons later he has designed beautiful collections of table and house wares using the techniques he learned in India..... and now he also is fluent in Hindi...
I also just heard he has designed a crystal line for Waterford..s'cuse me , gotta go find it....
