oh, yeah. it's old school. i totally remember my beloved viewmaster, the 'land of the lost' reels were a fave. magical gifts that help parents reminisce & don't require batteries or make noise are always a plus. you can find new viewmaster reels on everything from sesame street to mid-century modern architecture. i want one!

My mom probably went through hell to buy me my Cabbage Patch doll back in the 80's' I remember my doll had glasses which was kinda weird b/c I didn't at the time- it was probably the last one on the shelf, but I loved it all the same. Thanks Mom.

Description
This is not the Rubik's Cube from my childhood, it was actually a Christmas themed cube...but the toy is traumatic all the same. My brother and I are no geniuses when it came to this toy so we of course did what any childhood idiot would do-- ripped the damn stickers off and put them back on, ran up to my parents to show them how smart their children were. It worked once but taking off the stickers again and again eventually ruined the cube. My parents were not pleased.
