About this list:
If you're easily distracted by beautiful baubbles then you're like me. Sometimes a bit punk, often a bit hip, but always cool and accessorized. I tend towards silver over gold and modern over ornate.

Description
I dig the contrast of the oxidized chains with the sterling, but it's the detail of the little mother-of-pearl bird that makes this necklace for me. It's a slightly sweet and playful detail that changes the tone of the whole piece.

Alice Highet - Helicopter Earrings

Description
These are little bits of summer fun. The design is based on sycamore seeds and wind farms. I remember dropping seeds like those off of the deck at my childhood home and watching as they spiraled down to the ground. It's a playful design, and I love the bright colors. Perfect for twirling in a light summer breeze.

KONZUK- KMP164 necklace

Description
Made from stainless steel that has been powder-coated with a color, this playful pendant will keep your bored fingers happy for quite some time. I love pieces of jewelry that I can play with, but it needs to be gorgeous on its own. This piece certainly is both.

Description
I was so taken with the contrasts in material in this necklace that it took a second look to realize that the oxidized chain was actually made of tiny interlocking hearts. A very delicate and interesting piece.

How badass is this ring? I love the fact that it's made out of bone china, so it's actually kinda delicate. It's all kinds of creepy-cool.

A bit cheeky this. Who says you can afford the big bling? When it's a 2-D picture of a honkin' rock you can! It's a interesting comment on our need for bigger and better, and it's so cool looking. I also just want to feel what a bone china ring would be like on my finger. This looks incredibly tactile, and it's so eye-catching.

I have this thing about the tactile quality of wood. I just love the look of the irregularities in it and warm feel it lends. And these lovely, deep, dark brown wooden wings are no exception. It's such a simple, organic, minimal look that I'm absolutely taken with.

Romantic Artifacts necklace

Description
I'm very glad that I live in the age of computers and not typewriters, and especially spell-check, but there's something so romantic about typewriter keys. And I really like the way these are set into other bits of bobbins from the turn of the century, well, turn of last century... Very steampunk, and very cool.

Lucky8 necklace

Description
What is it about old things that lends them a bit of magic? Part of an antique watch and a key from a typewriter. Not much, but there's so much fascinating detail in these old things that the resulting necklace has a ton of character and charm.

Hands for Ears earrings

Description
There something wonderfully decadent about wearing clock hands as earrings, like you have time to spare or something. Either that, or I'd feel a bit like I walked out of a magical labyrinth or wonderland or something. Very cool, and terribly unique.
