K-Swiss: Thackery (Platinum)
First to recommend
Description
What needs to be said bout the K-Swiss Thackery. Classic white sneakers with clean lines. An added bonus is the different color bands that can be swapped out around the heel of the shoe. K-Swiss gives you three colors, yet I am already planning on finding a material that will allow me to design my own.

Cashmere Velvet Blazer - The J. Peterman Company
First to recommend

Description
The Cashmere Velvet Blazer by The J. Peterman Company in Midnight Blue is currently an absolute want on my shopping list. Clean, classic cut and subtle style makes this blazer perfect.
From The J. Pterman Company Site:
Personal wattage. Some people win it in the biological lottery. I like to think of it as a matter of attitude, and the right clothes can’t hurt.
This jacket, for example. Rich dark blue velvet, the same kind of lustrous fabric that used to be mandatory for gents’ evening wear at Buckingham Palace.
This particular velvet catches even more light in its folds than usual, without going to extremes. Its a blend of fine cotton with luxurious cashmere…something that I, for one, had never heard of before. Unexpected and excellent with well-worn jeans.
Cotton-Cashmere Velvet Jacket (No. 1768). Constructed with canvas interlining, shoulder pads, and sleeve heads. Four-button front.
Three welted pockets outside, four more inside including ticket pocket.
Claret satin lining with subtle paisley pattern.
Color: Deep Midnight Blue (more lumens per square yard than black velvet).

Johnston & Murphy Skull & Crossbones Cufflinks

Description
Since the business world is slowly waning itself off of ties (which I am thankful for), and as Gordon (Co-Founder of ThisNext) so eloquently said “Cufflinks are, I think, the new power tie. Good cufflinks can connote sophistication, considered taste, and often a touch of boldness without hassle of neckwear.” The Skull & Crossbones cufflinks by Johnston & Murphy are the perfect accessory for when us guys want to show a little part of our bad a$$ personality.

Tanuki Aviator Hat
First to recommend
Description
The Tanuki Aviator Hat by Johnston & Murphy is probably one of the best accessories for Winter in New York. The Tanuki is authentically crafted of supple leather and lined with luxuriously fluffy Japanese Tanuki fur. Not only will the Tanuki keep your head protected from the harsh elements of Winter, it also provides a small additional touch of style. This isn't the hat for those card carrying members of PETA (it's real fur) nor the NRA (they like plaid and camouflage).

DC Incase Folio for iPod nano (Black Camo)

Description
The DC Incase folio is a great compact case for the iPod Nano that has a little bit of style as well as providing a very decent amount of protection. The case is well constructed and very easy to access. The case has a very subtle black camo design.

Draftsmen (T-Shirts)
First to recommend
Description
Draftsmen is another one of my favorite t-shirt companies. The designs are very artistic, very original and definitely not main stream. While I am now getting away from purchasing t-shirts from companies (as I can design my own and have them printed), I am still purchasing t-shirts from Draftsmen, Exact Science and Tank Theory.

Lucien Piccard (Executive Collection)
First to recommend
Description
My GF gifted me the model this particular watch replaced (same exact style, yet mine has the date at the 3:00 mark) for Valentine's day. The watch is impeccable! The lines are clean and the construction is solid. The watch has a larger face which is nice since I don't have small wrists. While Lucien Piccard watches aren't going to cost as much as a down payment on a house, the style is very sophisticated, contemporary and clean.
From Lucien Piccard:
Men's stainless steel watch featuring a classy, sleek design with white textured dial, stainless steel panther link bracelet with butterfly strap. Stainless steel case back measuring 15mm, water resistant to 3ATM, Swiss movement

BananaRepublic: Luxe Winter Blend Argyle V-Neck Sweater
First to recommend
Description
While I have owned two Banana Republic argyle v-neck sweaters, I am adding this sweater as it is the updated version. I have been sporting the argyle sweaters and socks for the past two years, and it's about time fashion caugt up with me. It is nice to see that argyle has made a comeback. The sweater has a comfortable cut and is very warm.
From the Banana Republic site:
The classic argyle sweater has just been reinvented. The reverse knit on the front offers a modern edge to the traditional pattern. The fabric is so supple and cozy, you can layer it over almost any shirt in your closet.
* V-neck.
* 2 x 2 rib finish at collar, cuffs, and hem.
* Fully fashioned for a clean drape.
* 80% Merino wool, 10% Angora, 10% Cashmere.

Element: Wicker Jacket
First to recommend
2 people recommended this item
Description
I just picked up the Wicker Jacket by Element Skateboards. The jacket is the perfect alternative to a $300+ North Face jacket. The jacket is quilted nylon with down filling and a poly shell and lining. Element has added a removable faux fur trimmed hood (nothing like a little fur), knit collar and cuff linings for added comfort and warmth. The lining inside is a custom plaid print designed by Element. One of the reasons why I bought this particular jacket is because it also has a "Flap Waist" which will be nice since I am a little taller than average.

Brooklyn Industries - Standard Blazer (Corduroy)
First to recommend
2 people recommended this item
Description
This is one of my favorite new pieces. The Standard Blazer by Brooklyn Industries is a very well cut single breasted blazer. My GF got me this one in the corduroy (Chocolate Brown) with sky blue lining. Behind the corduroy material, there are slight hints of the lining color as well which is a very nice take on standard corduroy.
From the Brooklyn Industries site:
Brooklyn Industries takes on the suit with this single breasted blazer with three flap pockets at the waist and a single welt pocket at the chest. Pop your collar and you’ll flash hidden Brooklyn Industries script embroidery but it’s easy to keep under wraps if you don’t want to show off. Modern and streamlined but not too fitted, the Standard Blazer will class up any outfit.
Features:
* Body exclusive of trim: 100% cotton body, exclusive of trims
* Sleeve lining: 100% nylon
* Felt undercollar with script embroidery
* Inside wallet pocket
* Standard modern blazer fit. Hits at low hip
* Two buttons at center front and five at the sleeve vent
