I am 5'3" and love platform shoes. Luckily for me, even though I am short, my legs are long for my height. But, I still love the extra length platform shoes give my legs and the extra height. The thing about the platform shoes is I can get extra height without my foot being compromised as much by a high heel, since the platform eases the extension of the foot. I found some great platform shoes for my wardrobe and love each and everyone of them.

I love, love, love these shoes, they are soooo gorgeous. The metallic platform shoes make my legs look so shapely and the graphics they create are like no other high heels that I own. Remember the great graphics of Jessica Rabbit--the graphic lines these shoes create are as ah-mazing as that.
My friend, Niki, loved these shoes so much, she got herself a pair, too. Now, Niki is beautiful and she doesn't know it. She is a quiet, gentle soul; a bit shy. These shoes inspired her to take a pole dancing class. I was shocked at what the peep toe shoes brought out in her--but it was a fun side to see of her.
We were both surprised at how comfortable for women's shoes these shoes are, too. And, they are so great looking, that even if they weren't comfortable they would be worth wearing because they make your legs and feet look so darned good.
The peep toes are fun and take this shoe from being serious to flirty and fun. The color of the high heels are what you could call a warm silver--imagine silver and bronze mixed together. It is a great color that is a wonderful neutral as it goes with everything.
The height of the platform makes the heel not as high for your foot. Which maybe part of what makes it a comfortable shoe. And, the ankle strap adds a dainty, feminine look.

I love, love, love these ankle strap high heels. They are so gorgeous. The image does not do them justice.
I had an event to attend that was dressy and didn't know what dress I would be wearing, but found these shoes and found them at a great price with free shipping, so I ordered them.
The silver dots on the vamp are actually all crystals--each and everyone of them. I love rhinestones and crystals, but at times they can be gaudy or too loud and the party I was going to was with business acquaintances--so, I wanted to dress in something sophisticated and elegant. This platform shoe hit the spot, totally.
They are elegant and beautiful, tasteful, yet fun and flirty. And, with the right outfit can be quite sexy, too.
I ended up with a blue cocktail dress that came above the knees and these silver shoes made the outfit magical. The platform on the shoe gave me some added height and made my calves look longer and very shapely.
They also gave me an added confidence so I was stepping high into the party and felt so good upon entering it, my smile was truly genuine. I was glad to see everyone. When it seems to me I look my best, I am able to forget about me and focus on other people--which makes the party really fun.
I got so many compliments on my shoes that night, it was really fun and i met and talked to a lot of people I never would have had I not chosen those shoes to wear. Another added bonus was I didn't see my shoes coming and going. They were unique and stood out.
Now, when I call some of the clients who were at the party, they say, 'Oh yeah, you are the lady with the great shoes!'

I love, love, love these gold sandals. I watched the Gucci catwalk and head designer, Frida Giannini, said chunky gold platform shoes are perfect for the fall fashions. Well, I think, as far as women's shoes goes, these are fabulous for all seasons.
The sandals look great with everything. I haven't found one thing they don't go well with--well, except maybe sweat pants! And, that's only if they aren't wide legged.
Gold is the new beige and what a nice change that is. The sandal is a shimmery gold that isn't gaudy, the straps are feminine and lend themselves to complimenting the graceful curves of the feet. Not only that, but amazingly, these are comfortable shoes, too. Which shocked the heck out of me.
