Mirage Bookmarks : Stainless Steel
First to recommend
Description
I've been a fan of these bookmarks for years- I used to stock them in the bookstore I worked in, and they sold very well. Super thin and light, with art-y designs etched in the stainless steel, they hold your place and they hold it with style.

ilee's 2009 letterpress and silkscreen calendar
2 people recommended this item
Description
This is the other letterpress calendar I buy... second year in a row for ilee as well. The 2008 designs were so vibrant and delightful, but it looks like 2009 will be even better! I thought I missed out on these this year, but it looks like more have been put up on etsy. Go get one (or two) now while you can!

Description
This will be the second year in a row that I've gone with a Satsuma Letterpress calendar. The designs are simple and elegant which makes them perfect for any room, and I love the trim size- 6.5" x 11".

Description
Another fantastic letterpress designer. Like many of the other letterpress designers, they offer a selection of cards for many occasions. Like many of the other letterpress designers, they also offer customer work.
I happen to like their architecture cards. Very unusual and absolutely gorgeous!

Snow and Graham Letterpress Stationery

Description
I absolutely love letterpress stationery.
Snow and Graham is one of my favorite letterpress designers. Clean, simple, and classic designs. They create everything from everyday greeting cards for birthdays and anniversaries to boxes notecards and baby announcements to calendars and coasters, I buy in bulk because I know there's something that will fit any occasion.
I think their web site is still being redesigned, but you can also find these at many fine stationery stores like luxepaperie, greerchicago, and broadwaypaper.

Behance :: Action Pad
6 people recommended this item
Description
My new favorite organization tool! I love having these Action Pads in my Levenger Softolio (I have the large Action Pad in the large size Softolio and the smaller size Action Pad in the junior size Softolio). The layout is great for meetings and for separating without losing the important or main items from the rest of your notes. Great concept.
As much as I move the Action Pads, my heart truly belongs to the Action Cards. Measuring 3" x 5", these cards tuck into everything easy and keep my most important notes and tasks literally within reach. The front is just blocks of color with a small box so you can check off when the task is completed. The entire backside of each card is white with faint grey dots, allowing you to do what you want with it. Classy and classic.
They only use three colors- orange , grey, and a pale aqua blue. Since orange is my favorite color I am thrilled, and one can't go wrong with the grey. I do hope they add a few more colors to their line though. I shouldn't be focusing on the colors, but I just can't help it.

Quiplip Cards

Description
Quiplip actually has a couple of different series- my favorites are the original Quiplips line and the Graphitudes line.
Most of the Quiplips line of cards have loads of text on the front cover, including several "choose your own" options. For example, one of their birthday cards starts out with this:
In honor of this very special day, I set out to find you the most sublime, extra-fine gift imaginable. I scoured the globe, searched high and low, but ____ all of the precious gems combined couldn't sparkle as bright as you ____ there was not a single flower that came close to the beauty you possess ____ no beer of the month club could satiate your ibncredible drinking capacity ____ no book was worthy of your all-knowing eyes
And so on.
The Graphitudes line features pie charts and bar graphs with witty little sayings.
Good stuff.

the INTERESTING thoughts of EDWARD MONKTON: greeting cards and more

Description
Edward Monkton is a very clever designer from the UK. He has a wonderful line of cards that I usually buy at least 2 of so I can keep one and give the others away. I know there is a US distributor, but their reps don't seem to be telling their accounts about the delightful Edward Monkton so I usually have to buy my cards online from the UK. Which is okay and doesn't cost nearly as much as I thought it would. There are also books and calendars and mugs and keychains and other wonderful things.

Uncooked Cards
First to recommend
Description
These cards are GREAT! Simple, odd, and perhaps a little indelicate at times, Uncooked makes very un-Hallmark like cards that crack me up.
Their birthday cards are some of my most favorite ever- I usually buy them in quantities of 2 and 4 to send to multiple friends. Their holiday cards are amazing too. Sometimes I put them up in my room and wish I could be as clever as Nat.
