In honor of "Sweetest" day, and the fact that I am my own sweetest thing right now, I am recommending this lovely piece of fab that I stumbled upon.
Headed to a sample sale tomorrow with ThisNext Maven, Laura Sweet, and Blue Wild Indigo is supposed to be there. I'm going to spend a lot I can already tell. Cheers to Sweetest Day being my excuse!

Today I met one of the guys associated with this company. He had on two of these rings, stacked, and they looked class-y with a capital C. Incredibly unique, very masculine and wholly eye catching. It was lust at first sight for this jewelry lover.
I am now coveting the female versions and predict this puppy will be the new signature Tiffany ring to replace that mesh looking one that's been played out. All are made to order so if you want one you've gotta wait. How do you spell exclusive? H-o-o-r-s-e-n B-u-h-s.
One of the rings has been on Desperate Housewives and another is a fave of Joaquin Phoenix, hunkka hunkka. Anything Joaquin likes is just fine by me.

Sorry folks. I just ordered the one pair on Etsy and took them off the market. Maybe Simone will be nice and make another set. (via simone)

I bought this necklace from Simone after discovering it on ThisNext. It's quite lovely in person (absolutely gorgeous, according to my boyfriend.) Simone was quick to send it out so I didn't have to wait very long for it to arrive. It's casual enough to wear it most days and could easily be layered with equally cute looking necklaces. I want the leaf pendant earrings next...or maybe those cherry blossom drop ones... nice work Simone! (via simone)

These could almost be an every day pair. Retail value is $180, can be yours for $98.
What makes these truly special is that they are purchased through Novica which supports international jewelry artists who receive the majority of the money.
This pair is called "Crescent Moon:"A crescent moon rests in the argent embrace of filigree hoops. Working in fine Andean silver, Giovanna Larnia recreates a classic design with roots in the pre-Inca Tallan culture. Such earrings were worn by members of the nobility during Peru's colonial epoch.
About this designer:
Giovanna Paola Larnia is a self-taught jewelry designer who has developed her own style based on the pre-Inca Tallanes and Vicus cultures.
She has spent most of her time developing new designs, in planning for a future exhibit of her works. Larnia prefers 0.950 rating silver, creating elegant filigree with simple tools. (via Novica)

Laura Sweet added some "sweet" things to ThisNext so I popped on over to her personal homepage and found this amazingly stunning gemstone jewelry. I am absolutely in love with both these pieces...not to wear together...don't want to show one up over the other...but, my word...can we say classy? Sophisticated? Beautiful? I didn't see it on the eBay store but maybe my adoration will be enough that we'll be seeing it up there soon.
Stop on over to her webpage and check out the other unique pieces she's created. (via Laura Sweet)

This website does not do justice to the beauty of Itay's work. He is THE best kept secret in LA. I found him on the Santa Monica Prominade about 6 years ago and everytime I am in the area I visit. I haven't been to either of the stores. I just stick to the cart at the promenade as that's where I always find him making new designs. He makes incredible beautiful, delicate, unique and classy jewelry using semi-precious stones that give everything a very rich feel. And, considering the materials and craftmanship it's totally affordable. Perfect for dressing up those sassy summer dresses and outfits.
Everything is hand-crafted and of supreme quality. Every time I wear a piece of jewelry I purchased from him (especially necklaces) I get a ton of compliments. If you're near the Santa Monica promenade look for his cart with the name ANTIQUA on it. Tell him a fan sent you. (via Antiqua Jewelry)
