HP W2207 22" Widescreen LCD Monitor

Description

I just got this one yesterday. First of all, this monitor looks great even while it's turned off. After turning it on, I think it's the best monitor I've ever used so far. The picture is crisp (1000:1 contrast ratio), the colors are just right, and it's freaking big. For $310 bucks on Amazon, it's a steal.

I did have a problem getting HP w2007 monitor to work with my NVidia GeForce FX 5200 video card. I think the video card is to blame here, though. By default this card did not recognize the preferred monitor resolution (1680x1050). In order to get the correct resolution and get rid of the resulting blurriness I had to do some research and apply some manual settings as described here:

Overall, I highly recommend this monitor.

Rock Band

Description

After playing Rock Band for a couple times, I must admit that it KICKS ASS! For me, playing the guitar was the hardest, drums were OK, but the singing part was the most fun. And after all, the vocalists get the hottest chicks, don't they? I also got a few 100% scores for my vocals, so now I'm considering auditioning for the next American Idol. Playing gigs with the Rock Band is still my #1 priority though, so my fellow rockers and fans shouldn't worry.

I love this bag. I've had it for about a year, and it is very resilient (I travel for a living). It has space for everything, and it still looks and feels as its name suggests.
It has a protective built-in sleeve for your laptop (fits up to 15" MacBook Pro), a hook with clip for your keys, an inside and an outside pocket for papers or magazines, and plenty of space in the middle for a wallet, a small bag for computer peripherals, a notebook, pens, highlighters, sharpies, weireless card... backup HD, case for your glasses, checkbook, small make-up bag... I mean, it feels huge!
I spent a long time finding my "perfect briefcase," and this is it: perfection.
Oh, and lest I forget, it is absolutely beautiful!
