This Target find makes a great holiday centerpiece. It looks much more impressive than the price tag would lead you to believe, and it has felt on the bottom, so it won't scratch the table. I like it so much, I think I'm going to leave it out all year.

Ok, so this was a splurge for my holiday table - not really budget - but this Dibbern pattern is to die for. Very modern, very subtle, very elegant, great coupe shapes. For the time being, I could only afford 8 salad plates (and only because I get a discount), but this is the china I want. So if you were thinking of getting me something for my birthday... hint, hint.
