I like his illustrations a lot, they have wonderful movement and he seems to create these expressive figures out of a mess of lines. I wish his paintings were as wonderful as these illustrations.

I was drawn to Sam Webers' work because it is both beautful and disturbing. I want to know the stories involved in these illustrations, I wish they had little blurbs to go along with the characters.

He has some great concepts going on in his work and I like the way his website is set up. It makes his work extremely accessible.
He has a selection of works on his website called the "unwanted" photographs. I like the idea of showcasing the photographs that were thrown away or didn't seem important. I think everyone can relate to that idea because how many pictures do you usually take and then end up tossing aside?
The bird portraits, however, take the cake for me. They quirky and funny..each one has it's own face and personality.

Description
I found Ian Francis' work on a whim one day and fell in love with his prints almost immediately. His work seems to say so much without really revealing anything at all. As I looked through his portfolio I couldn't tell if I was watching a love story or the destruction of a couple. I love the ultra realistic renderings hidden beneath the smatterings of color. His lines are pure and true, creating characters that intrigue and leave you wishing you had the whole picture.

Jack is actually a friend of my ex-boyfriend so I was fortunate enough to meet him at his Giant Robot show in NYC this past year. His work is fantastic and he is super nice guy. I would love to own one of his paintings and prints, but apparently they are moving quickly. I love how they seem to take you to a far away land where people travel by balloons and live in treehouses.

I don't know where this girl came up with these plush toys, but it is pure genius. I think she takes the cake in design and concept. They have so much feeling and emotion...love the burnt toast!

Description
These poster designs are beautiful and simple. The designer has a great sense of composition and allows the white background to play a major role in these design. I sometimes wish they weren't for shows or bands and they were just prints unto themselves. I think they could stand alone.

The minute I saw Peter's work I fell in love with his intricate detail and beautiful craftsmanship. He has a wonderful hand and I am sure in person these pieces are even more spectacular.
He has the same touch as Tom Friedman and that is great company!
