Don't let the organic label fool you into thinking these are down to earth. One bite and you'll be seeing stars.

Fat Witch - The Best Brownies

Description
I am not normally a brownie eater--I am more into cake and cookies, but these brownies were amazing. They are great as gifts too. I've sent them to friends to cheer them up and they certainly worked!

Bird's Custard
First to recommend
Description
Where would I be without my classic British custard? Stuck with American tapioca pudding, perhaps.
This one's a cure-all for those dull and rainy days and just perfect with some vanilla biscuits. It's also the basis for another classic British dessert: English Trifle. Just layer some sponge cake, strawberry jam, fruit cocktail, and fresh cream with this secret pudding and enjoy a scrumptious treat after refrigerating overnight. It's not for the diet-conscious, but definitely worth a sample.

Gail Ambrosius Chocolatier Madison,Wisconsin

Description
Tucked away in Madison, Wisconsin is a very talented chocolatier by the name of Gail Ambrosius. When you pay her a visit, she'll be glad to take you on a tour of her chocolate shop and give you a sample or two. . .or three, if you ask nicely.
Organic chocolates in both milk and dark creations fill the displays, and you'll want to try the chocolate Buddha if you're in the mood for a very Zen state of mind.

The Silly Yak Bakery & Bread Barn
First to recommend
Description
I couldn't have survived a Midwest winter without a weekend treat of Bread Barn brownies and hot chocolate!
If you are on a gluten-free diet, this is your best pick for a made from scratch bakery and natural ingredients. This was one of my favorite spots for some out-of-this-world brownies. Now the bakery offers nationwide shipping, so you'll want to round up a loaf of your favorite bread along with a half-dozen or so brownies!

Cheesecake Factory's Crazy Carrot Cheesecake

Description
Several years ago, I worked at an Italian restaurant that served this crazy creation. Since then, I've had a hard time beating my carrot cake addiction, especially on a dismal day when nothing but dessert will do to cure the blues.
When the restaurant stopped serving this dessert, I had to set my sights elsewhere. . .online shopping was once again a savior.

Description
Nothing compares to this English legend, and you're missing out if you've only had the American version of Cadbury's. Look for the British crown symbol on the wrapper for the authentic milk chocolate bar that will have you hooked for life!
