Anatomical Heart Soap by artistamuerta

First to recommend

Description

My hands would never feel clean again if I used this soap... It's pretty cool looking thought, I must say. From artistamuerta, vegan, glycerine soap encases a black soap anatomical heart with red soap paint. Scary! The heart is protected in the clear soap so will retain its goreyness no matter how many times you try to wash the blood off your hands. It is lightly scented with high quality fragrance oil in my custom blend of rose, violet, tayberry and teakwood - a very clean, lovely scent. Perfect for everyday in our house, not just Halloween. It's a good sized bar, about 2.5 by 4 inches. (via etsy.com)

PIRATE TOTE BAG

2 people recommended this item

Description

Whoever thought that carrying a tote bag could make you look tough? I just came across such an item. This skull and crossbones tote might make those prissy yuppie shoppers make room for you as you lumber through store aisles. Made by craftswomen in India under a Fair Trade agreement, each tote helps secure fair wages and contributions to their community. (via UncommonGoods)

Day of the Dead Skeleton Crucifix

Description

This is very creative indeed. Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) definitely crosses (no pun intended) the line when it comes to works of art. One has to take it all within a cultural context. When those from other cultures interpret it, sometimes it comes off a bit more macabre than usual. As in this case. Maybe it's all of that Catholic schooling, but this is one of the creepier Day of the Dead pieces that I've seen. (via etsy.com)

zombies love brains classic mug by foldedpigs

First to recommend

Description

What a statement, "I love you more than zombies love brains." There aren't many people I feel that way about, I must admit. These mugs are sweet on so many levels. The subtle brain etching and phrase in italics on the side. So understated that it loses its potential tackiness. (via etsy.com)

skull and cross-utensils fruit cup by foldedpigs

Description

Ooh! I really want these...but I don't need them. They are lovely little bowls and are a set. Look at the detail on that design. Clever and wrong at the same time! I'll have to put some careful thought into not buying these and only recommending them. But just look at it! (via etsy.com)

Human Tooth Necklace by silentcheesecake

Description

Some may say morbid. Some say it's simply a throwback to Victorian days when curios were all the rage. I'm just not positive that they had curios quite like this example. Truly original, truly unique. (via etsy.com)

Skull Cameo earrings

First to recommend

Description

By bombalurina, a pair of kick ass skull cameo earrings. I swear, I end up wanting a disproportionate amount of the jewelry that I see on this website. They have taken a concept like the cameo, which is generally completely unappealing to me and made it almost impossible to walk away from. (via etsy.com)

Skelanimals Kit (Cat) 8-Inch Plush - Toynami

Description

Here is another (I can't believe I'm using this word) adorable Skelanimal. This time a cat. I really should go ahead and post them all. I mean, I want them all, and I haven't wanted a stuffed animal since I was in the single digits. Truly frightening.

SKULL & CROSSBONES MENS SLIM BLACK & WHITE NECKTIE TIE (S1041)

Description

I have personally been out of the tie-wearing business since it was last popular during the 80's, but why not encourage your guy or guyfriend to sport this one to the office. Not appropriate? Well, 'round about Halloween and no one will even bat an eye. (via luxurydivas.com)

Rothco Men's Olive Drab "Skull & Crossbones" T-Shirt 60397

First to recommend

Description

This appeals to me because it is a totally no no-nonsense, olive drab "working man or woman's" skull and cross bones tee. It has unpretentious written all over it. You know it's true for only ten bucks! (via workinggear.com)
