$55 (orig $100) This is my kind of jacket. Smooth on the outside and soft on the inside. Fleece interior keeps you cozy, but the smooth fabric on the outside was designed for endurance (climbing). Stretches so it's great for sports. The smooth texture avoids snags... I hate it when that happens, especially half way up a wall.

$99.50 (orig $199). I'm glad they're making bright colors for men's outdoors clothing. It's so much nicer than the boring navy. I'm a big fan of light, waterproof shells that are designed for outdoor activities. This one has stretch fabric in the right places so you can move without feeling like you've been wrapped in saran wrap.

I own this headlamp and find it very handy to have around. It has an auto wind-up mechanism so when you do not have it on, it compacts down to a hand-sized flashlight. Sometimes when I'm on a short walk or adventure where I'm not carrying any gear, this thing is handy. It fits easily into my shorts pocket, and if I don't have pockets (like at the beach), it goes around my wrist (I don't know about you, but I can't leave anything on my head for a long period of time.).
