Marc Jacobs and Louis Vuitton Documentary by Loic Prigent, DVD

First to recommend

Description

This is an intimate look into the [work] life of creative genius Marc Jacobs. Juggling both Marc Jacobs and Louis Vuitton, the brilliant designer is the ultimate idea man, brainstorming and executing revolutionary campaigns simultaneously for each powerhouse. A very French documentary, Americans who aren't truly interested in fashion may grow tired of the fly-on-the-wall style, but for those who can't get enough of Marc Jacobs, this doc is brilliant.

Sunday Morning Shootout: Best Of Season 1 DVD

First to recommend

Description

One of my favorite parts of cinema school at USC was hearing guest speakers. There is no better way to learn the ins and outs of the film business than from hearing stories straight from the mouths of the industry's greatest. If you've never watched Sunday Morning Shootout, I urge you to check it out. Peter Bart (Variety) and Peter Guber (mega-producer) host a weekly talk show where they discuss the film biz and bring on guests to hear about current projects. A true industry gem.

Description

I love KCRW's Morning Becomes Eclectic program. In case you can't listen each day at 9am, collect their albums. I particularly like the Live CD. It includes some artists I know, some I don't, but it's all fantastic listening.

Description

It took me awhile to give The L Word a chance...OK, so I didn't really even watch until the 5th season. But I was hooked. The writing is smart, the ladies are hot, and this show just radiates girl power and sex. If you haven't seen the series, here's a chance to catch up on the first four complete seasons - all in one box set.

Description

If you're a music lover, you know the fan experience easily transcends beyond CDs. From concerts to music videos, artists connect with us in many ways. Radiohead's new "Best of" collection is amazing - I have always loved their music, but now I can WATCH it.

21 videos are featured on the new Radiohead: The Best Of DVD, including Just, Street Spirit, Karma Police, Paranoid Android, No Surprises, Knives Out, Pyramid Song and There There. The DVD also includes the more experimental visuals created for Radiohead songs not released as singles, and nine videos make their DVD release debuts on the new collection.
