Head Skis USA Sweet Fat Thang Alpine Ski

First to recommend

Description

I am part of a 11 women team- one woman from each country around the world. We designed this ski, and 6 others together – breaking down conventional thought that different countries want different fashion. I love the butterflies and I ski like a rock star on this ski. In my steep camps, I put people on this ski and it changes their life! And head generates their own electricity with the stream water running through the ski factory in Austria.

Brunton Solar Roll

Description

I can get off the grid while I’m on the road. At home, I live in my straw bale solar house, so I like to keep it happening while traveling. There is also a new one coming out that folds up like a small tarp. Can’t wait to get that one – even smaller!

Description

This Spanish company, El Naturalista is available in the US. My favorite and most comfortable shoes use recycled rubber soles and vegetable dyed leathers. I do not go a day without compliments on these shoes - stylish, but oh so comfy- with more rocker than traditional clogs.

Great fit on athletic bodies, comfort and fashion (I have a pair in every color, eek!), Cotton is one of the highest users of pesticides around the world, so Patagonia only uses organic cotton and hemp, and its goal is to have all products enviro friendly by 2010.

I use this synthetic insulation jacket for everything- skiing, climbing, shopping, rain coat, warm insulation in super cold climates – and it packs into my hand and feels like you are wearing air. Patagonia sponsors my non-profit, ORE, with its 1% for the Planet Program, they donate 1% of sales to 350 grassroot non-profits, for a total of about 2.5 million a year!

Osprey Packs Switch 36

Description

All the things you want in a real backcountry ski/snowboard pack!!! An external helmet pocket, hip stash pockets for food, wax and a leatherman, wet dry compartments, with a special pocket for your snow study kit and fleece pocket for goggles The reverse hatchback design allows for quick access on slope - allowing quick yoyo runs with rapid access to skins and layers. I helped to redesign this pack last season - shaving weight and complicated features, and adding more backcountry usability.

Soft, organic, colorful, and contoured to a womens foot and with designs that I created, including ski girls with martinis, fun stripes, funky flower, and more. Whether you ski, snowboard, bike, hike, walk or run, we have a women's specific sock for you. New to the line this year is a corn based bio fiber sock, which is another more sustainable and earth friendly product. I added stars, polka dots, more stripes, and new fun fashionable colors like teal, turquoise, gold, silver, and brown.
