BEST BOOTS EVA' -- Russian Valenki felt boots
First to recommend
Description
Turn down the thermostat and keep warm on cold floors with these traditional Russian felt boots that mold to your feet with time. If the snow is crisp you can even wear them outside. If it's slushy, slip the rubber goulashes over the boots and off you go.
I bought a pair for a Christmas gift from AKA Culture. Look close and the AKA logo on the side is a hammer and sickle barely disguised. Russians were warding off Siberian winters in valenki long before the Revolution. These days they're styled for frigid fashionistas, too, so poke about the web and see what you can find . . . Josh Jakus UM Shoulder Bag
2 people recommended this item
Description
Cut from a single flat piece of felt, then gathered into a shoulder bag by a zipper handle and trim. Unzip and the bag lays flat for packing, drycleaning and storage. How cool is that?
Comes in a variety of shapes. Always gray felt is trimmed in various colored zippers, too. (via Design Public)

Supermarket - Necklush

Description
How beautiful. Every print and color of every strand made by hand so each is unique. I'm buying one for my Florida sister who is never warm enough when she comes north for the winter holidays. Usually we give her stuff to wrap up in that goes right into mothballs when she heads back south. But not this time! She can wrap herself in her necklush up to her ears, then dress any work or dinner look with this myriad stranded scarf when she gets back home.
What an amazing thing, no? (via Supermarket)
