i've always collected marbles because they come in so many colors and designs and are so beautiful - not the kind you would buy in a net bag as a kid, but the kind you can find through sites like Rainbow Turtle here offer the finest and most beautiful marbles anywhere. I used to play as a kid, but now i just collect them and sometimes (well, only to one person) i would give as a sort of token gift - hard to explain, but in any event, very collectible. addictive. this particular marble is the closest i could find, but the marble i recommend has a figure inside of it and is an old-fashioned marble.... as a marble collector, these are very rare and very beautiful.... worth having, even if you use them for decorating and simply filling glass jars in the house - myriad colors of marbles work wonders with the sunlight shining through them, or play, or both like i do....
