Park Planters
First to recommend
Description
Statistics have conclusively shown that intense emotional moments which involve confrontation, exhortation, coercion and elation occur in parks 90 times out of 100. For proof, head over to Union Square in New York City and walk in circles for eight hours straight. Eventually, you'll notice patterns. Like one foot moves in front of the other, or that there is a couple making out every third bench and a break-up every fifth.
So now we can recreate that atmosphere at home with these wonderful little plant pots. They feature porcelain figures in heated situations. The result is an inspiring scene of surprising humanity and foreshadowing for our own lives. (via Mighty Goods)

Black eiCrate

Description
Designed in Brooklyn, the eiCrate is the perfect place for your Japanese bug fights The cage features enough height to attach several web cameras so international viewers won't miss a single stab, bite, grab, snap or pinch. The bars add a new level to the competitions, allowing the bugs to drop on their opponents in a new flying dragon attack style.
Just kidding. This is really a great dog crate that any of us with lots of money would be lucky to own. The miniature schnauzer is the cutest dog ever right! Other than the pug, of course. Run into the wall dogs are the BEST with their smushed up noses. (via Mighty Goods)

Tokyo Pop Lounge Chair By Driade
First to recommend
Description
From the Tokyo Pop series, I present the lounge chair. This thing is beautiful and functional.
Anime is definitely the wave of the present and future. I'd love to create a tea shop where everything is based on anime. Imagine, Kakashi-sensei tea. It would be a green tea. And Orochimaru would definitely be a kinda of nasty, experimental blended tea. And there could be a special line of tea and treat pairings based on Miyazaki movies.
Anyway, this chair is like the inside of a tooth to me. Almost like those cheesy chairs in the old school dentist offices. But since its made of polyethylene, this thing is probably comfy as all heck! Ohhhhhh! (via Product Dose)

Concrete Art Floor from Transparent House

Description
If you didn't already know, concrete has become increasingly popular for regular old houses. While I think concrete counters are DA BOMB, concrete floor can still hold its own weight. And this concrete 'art floor' from Transparent House blew me away.
Transparent House can take any pattern and apply it to polished concrete to leave you with a distinct flooring. Definitely do it up if you have money and a house without a floor. (via Cribcandy)

Floating Enclosed Stairway
First to recommend
Description
You can do secret things in the enclosed stairway. Secret things WHILE on your way somewhere. So you're not wasting time but you're still having a good time! What's nice about this enclosed stairway though is that it serves to really separate upstairs from downstairs and provides the stair climber with the real sense that they are entering a completely different place. It also helps a claustrophobic person get over their problem. Double benefit! (via Cribcandy)

Throwing Star Magnets

Description
Gosh I wish I could use ninjutsu. Unfortunately, I'm limited in natural ability to just taijutsu. With hand-to-hand alone, I really need some decent ammo to reaching my goal. But these bring me one step closer to being a full-fledged Shinobi.
Seriously. Can it get any better than Shuriken Magnets!?!?

Hanging Globe

Description
If I had a globe I would have something like this hanging globe. Its simple, doesn't take up desk or floor space and has a nice design.
The only issue with this is the price. Come on, $198 for a ball of plastic?

Quote-Unquote Bookends
First to recommend
Description
Bring great design to regular products in a sort of different way and you've got me. Book-ends, like cards, are the perfect candidates for designification. What's more, THEY USE CONCRETE! Oh man I love concrete when its used in a cool way.
These quote-unquote bookends are sturdy and stylish. Give 'em here.

BAAS Sculpt Furniture
First to recommend
Description
This is some of the most original and eye catching furniture I have seen in a long time. Its what furniture would be if Dali had his way - albeit this is a bit more toned down. The creators of this amazingly organic furniture use miniature sketch models to build these and everything is done by hand. Its all made with some form of steel.
And of course they are limited edition (only 8 pieces per item). Imagine the cost!

Itch Cat Scratcher Wall Art

Description
Seriously. I recently got two kittens (9 weeks old) and learned what a terrible thing it is to stock your home with cat toys. They stick out like sore thumbs and take up valuable real estate.
I've searched long and hard for some cat toys that blend into my apartment and don't scream 'a cat lover lives here'. I'm not one of those creepy people who is obsessed with cats. Anyway, these are awesome. Thanks to Mighty Goods for pointing them out.
I definitely want them.
