Here I present to you, in no particular order or ranking, a list of songs and/or albums that I love. I have no real genre preference, although you may notice that there is more of one particular type of music represented here than another. That's purely accidental. I love music that moves me: that makes me laugh, sing, cry, dance, reminisce, dream or think. And I'm always in search of more music to accompany on this wild and crazy ride we call life . . .

Israel turns 60 on May 8 -- 60 years of Israel also means 60 years of songs and music. Join me on a travel through decades, trends, hits and famous people!
The recommendations all link to Israel Music, where you can (and should!) listen to samples of each album. Enjoy!

Color is everywhere this season, but I am also seeing some interesting patterns in black and white. Not to mention, I am seeing a bumper crop of LBDs (little black dresses) that are just as jaw-droppingly gorgeous as anything in flowers or geometrics. As more of the fall's fashions are revealed, I hope to add even more finds to this list. Stay tuned to this noir channel . . .

Slip sliding away

Updated May 5, 2008
The warmer weather is one of my favorite aspects of spring, although in April and early May the warm days can be sporadic in my part of the world. And after enduring months of cold feet and itchy stockings, I find nothing more satisfying than being able to walk about in open-toed shoes: slides, sandals, flip flops, even peep-toe pumps. So I now go in search of what is new and different and daring in the world of slides . . .
