I needed a red velvet cake like yesterday, so I had to cut corners.Then I remembered Duncan Hines makes rockin' pre made mix. The cake tasted like it was from scratch. It is delicious! Makes great red velvet cupcakes as well. Talk about kosher soul, YUM!

I had my eye on this good looking sundae when Baskin Robbins introduced it cause I love me some peanut butter cups. All I have to say is OMG! Oh, how I love Aveda Lip Tint. It adds just a hint of color to lips. What I love todo is use the tint then put on a shiny lip gloss...talk about attention grabber! Tint comes in various shades and has a nice smell to it!

No soul food breakfast is not complete without perserves. Hero makes excellent perserves that you can eat with bisquits or fresh bread. My personal favorite is the strawberry perserves on a crepe.YUM!

That's right folks, Dunkin' Donuts has been going kosher. Not all of the locations are kosher, but more and more owners of Dunkin' are choosing to kosher their place. There are some arguments as to whether a place that serves bacon and ham can actually be kosher, but the argument turns back to the fact that food items come prepacked so indeed they can be kosher. Make sure the location you choose follows the laws in the way you keep kosher.

Oh, yes..this Puerto Rican rum hits the spot. I stumbled ( no pun intended) upon this product when I was offered a sip at my local wine store.

It is smooth, yummy, and leaves you feeling tingly. Quite a few selections in the brand are kosher. I recommend the Cristal and Anejo. Superb!

I just got a Jewish Holiday Cookbook from Wiley to review. I have to say it's pretty good. The recipes are broken up by holidays, so you get great menu ideas. Most of the recipes are Ashkenazi, but a few recipes from other Jewish cultures are thrown in.

I will so be trying the roasted pear blintzes. Yum!

Carlo Rossi Sangria rocks! It's inexpensive, has good flavor, and goes with just about everything from burgers, pizza, barbque, and on and on. It comes in a cute jug..

I tried this sangria by accident. I had limited cash on me and it was all a store had. Not I am hooked! If you like sangria,you must try.

This is a book that I recommend to my clients. It is one of the best books for taking a good look at yourself and living your best life.

Pinkins is an actress best known for playing Olivia on All My Children and starring in Caroline or Change on Broadway. Pinkins hit rock bottom and is now living a luscious life!

I highly recommend it.
